I had a go at making my own LBP Wallpaper on the official LBP website.

This is my first attempt. It's meant to be a friend and I in the park, I'm trying to hit the crossbar but my friend saved it lol

Very lovly.;)

I made some more backgrounds while my Mum was cooking me food  The LBP website is currently down, dunno what's happened?

This one is called:

Mumbo Jumbo:

Mean Eater!:

Crazy Old Car:

You get a limited amount of tools and things to create with, so you have to use what your given to create, people also can vote if they like your backgrounds.

Last time I checked Crazy Old Car was Number 1 in the Top Rated list. I like Mumbo Jumbo more myself.

While the user created levels so far aren't exactly great, there's a couple which are pretty fun. Someone's made a Takeshi's Castle level, which is split into different little challenges (for example, jumping into a teacup and sliding down ice). Every single level I've come across has a rocket car somewhere along the line. In a WipEout recreation I ended up crashing the car, breaking it in two and losing all the wheels.

My main hates so far are just the lack of variety/customisation (which is a given, since it's not the full version) and that online everyone sees it as a competition, no-one waits for the others to catch up.

I was surprised to hear some very familiar Arabic words from the Quran. - click.

Qu'ran references force worldwide LittleBigPlanet recall

Sony has confirmed that it is delaying the release of LittleBigPlanet and recalling the game from retailers worldwide because it has identified "two expressions that can be found in the Qu'ran" in one of the background songs.

The publisher has told Eurogamer that this means every copy of the game currently with retail in the world will be recalled and replaced, and retailers have started notifying customers of the hold-up.

"During the review process prior to the release of LittleBigPlanet, it has been brought to our attention that one of the background music tracks licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur'an," Sony said in a short statement.

"We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologise for any offence that this may have caused."

According to an archived snapshot of a PlayStation.com forum post (thanks vg247), the offending phrases are in the first 30 seconds of the background music to the Swinging Safari level.

Sony has said that a new launch date for the game - previously due out on 24th October - will be announced shortly, amid retail speculation that the game will go out on 14th November.

meh. just doesnt interest me.... looks a bit childish man

Same could be said for many platformers prior. Doesn't stop it being good. the level creation and flexibility on it's own is fascinating.

Then again at nearly 35 any excuse to be childish is gladly taken....
