Is everyone experiencing major lag on xbox live? Every game I've played in has lag, early on I was managing to find 3 bar games which were on the whole ok with lagging now and again. Now I can only find opponents with either 1 bar or no connection at all. I wan't to know if it's a general problem with xbox live/Konami if I need to setup my router differently to get better results. I have spoke to Konami who say they are experiencing problems which they are working on, but I'm sure some people out there are running ok.
Let me know you're experience so far but as far as I'm concerned the game has been a total waste of money, not being able to play matches online is the only reason for buying the game. Playing online just now is appalling - one minute you have the ball then the next the opponent is through on goal! I get the feeling from playing opponents that they are running normally and makes it extremely hard to match them. Any info would help!

I havent tried the 360 version yet but the ps3 o is pretty bad aswell. was just playing and in some games its impossible to keep up with the ball cos it jumps around the screen and somehow ends up in the back of the net. And in stood there saying WTF just happened

I havent even bothered to go back online with PES2008 since my 1st few attempts proved so annoying and frustrating. Im just going to to wait until Konami release a patch. It is the only thing to do. Just cant believe they have messed up the online after the joke that was PES6 last year. Just concentrate on your ML progress until then, or end up smashing a few controllers in a rage if you go back online with all the lag.

did you manage to find any 3 bar games though? When I tried I had 3 bars and the opponent always 1? Last year it was bad for a few days then it was sorted more or less - this is ridiculous!

Yes I am getting some serious lag so I cudnt be botherd going on live . Just playing master league untill konami get it sorted.

Dont no if its lag or just constant glitches but this game is an absolute joke.
If it was anything else we would all be taking it back for a refund

It's like PES6 in the beginning, terribly laggy. But then they patched that and it ran fine, so I'm not playing online until they fix it.

Im in the exact same shoes as you man. I too only find opponents with either 1 bar or no connection....VERY ANNOYING. I can download at 700 kb/s....but when I try to find a good connection.....NOOOOOOO.

At least some people manage to get three bar connection (even if it still is laggy)....I havent even seen a three bar connection in the new Pro!!!

Mate - We are all having the same problems ! How did you manage to get in touch with Konami?? Do they have a number etc???
Need to give them a piece of my mind,and get some answers!

Yeh, took the phone number from the website and asked for support on PES 2008. Last night I tried again and managed a few games at 3 bars, though they were few and far between - still a bit glitchy but vast improvement. Today it's the same shit again - beginning to think it may have something to do with restricted times the isp has, making it impossible to play in the evening, but after 12 it's ok. Still think a patch has to be on it's way!
