Xbox Live on PES4 is an absoloute shambles.

I'd say 80% of games I have played result in my opponent quitting, plus the lagg makes such a difference.

The whole online aspect of the game feels rushed and unfinished...

But at least it gives them to work on and improve for Pro Evolution 5.

Are we to assume that he had no lag whatsoever and just happened to lose 8-1 when you hosted? If you dish out a win like that, you should at least finish the return match.

That's a low blow MightMouse! For a start, your lag was terrible, I tried to play on and as it was a FRIENDLY I quit cos I couldn't move my players! I then PM'd you on here saying can we have a game where I host and told you I had to quit. If you had MSN messenger like everyone else that I play, I could have told you and we could have talked about it.

I would appreciate if you except the truth and remove your post, otherwise we can talk on private messages. I will never quit when it's a fair game, that's why it's on my sig. but that wasn't fair Bruv, it was a joke!

As I said in the PM today, I was more annoyed at the fact that you dished out an 8-1 whooping (cos of lag).
And the fact that u continued till i was 4 up before u quit.

As people have seen this post, i wont remove it.

However i understand the reason you quit and look forward to playing a 'fair' game against you once the patch is out.

That's not how it happened. We played 2 games a few days ago in the playoff group 6. I won 8-1 when I hosted , then we drew 2-2 when mightmouse hosted. Then yesterday he invited me, and we played 30 minutes of a terrible lag friendly before I quit cos I simply couldn't move, had no power bar and the commentators repeated themselves for about 10 minutes a time.

As it was just a friendly I quit, we had already played home and away in the playoff days before. I have a onetel broadband connection and get about 1/10 complaints when I host, but I'm defo willing to do a two legged game with either of you dudes just to end this discussion about quitting!

As the away side what can I do the minimise the lag?

My commentary is always off.

You also have to turn it off to make more of a difference for you.

Zyg, do you play with the comm off? Well I have been doing this lately, i dunno if its just placebo, but I been getting less lag. I suppose its best that both host and client turn off the commentary and see if that helps. Oh also wit stadium effects off and crowd down to 1 or 2*.

I play with commentary off and crowds off and no stadium effects.
There appear to be less crowd than normal when playing offline. But I've used these settings since the start so there's no real comparison for me. Those who have them on should turn them off and see what difference it makes.

Just a quick warning. Watch out for a player called Humanoid.
This week he has won 58, drawn 0, lost 0. He must be really good, I mean really, really good. Some would say unbeatable!! Idoit.
I love checking the rankings for these "super players"!!!

Isn't this quitting problem fixed?

A few days ago, when I started PES on live, I had to make an update. When starting PES on live again all my stats were deleted. I played a match and the opponent quitted (don't know if he did on purpose) and then I got a message telling me I had won the match. Then I checked the rating and saw I got the points...
Probably you all know about this if the problem is really fixed...

Not necessarily. Some people may still quit when losing which can still be annoying as the 3-0 auto win isn't as fun as completing a match in style.....

But I assume less people will post gamertags in here now.

Not only that zyg, but what if the you are beating the guy with more than 3 goals?? like 5 or 6-0. If he quits the result is only 3-0, well of course we know better, but they should still be named and shamed.
