It might seam a bit late, but i just want to say to all Chelsea fans about the semi final last year.

1st of all, in soccer AM a phone clip was sent in proving it was past the line, but ANYWAYS...
CHelsea were lucky the goal was allowed, d'yu wanna know y? Cos otherwise, Cech would have bin sent off, and guess wot... NO SUB GOALIE... you wouldnt have any gd goalies and wed score the pen. (as long as cisse the retard doesnt take it) lol

Here\'s my usual formation:

It\'s basically a 4-4-2, with Gerrard playing a little more central and as a AMF (I only wish i could give him a FM free role) making runs into the middle. Sometimes I put Luis Garcia in as SS. And I use him wide right when i want to protect a lead or push for an equalizer, reverting to a 4-5-1 with Gerrard at AMC with a striker replaced. Pushing Riise up to LMF and Traore inserted at left back. Putting Krompkamp in at RMF if i really want to bunker up.
Then if i need a goal I switch to a 4-1-3-2, with Momo\\Didi pulled, Luis Garcia and Kewell running the wings, and Gerrard at AAMC. I find this usually allows Gerrard to run into the area unmarked as the two CF push up and occupy the defense. With the middle shooting star and the easier long shots are now, he can score some blistering goals.

Forgot to comment on the great game played by Pool yesterday, whuppin\' some arse. Kewell\'s really starting to show some flair, his bicycle from a pretty tight angle forced a good save from Lehman. Morientes and Fowler both missed a few good chances. But once again the midfield showed why they are the best in the league.

So we have Gerrard in the centre of the park moving(from our view) South-west, having shots and playing wide balls, i really like to play down the wings and then come in with garcia or gerrard. But when you want to showboat or something, u can push Garcia/Gerrard further forward into RWF, and bring the LMF(Garcia/Zenden/Riise/Agger) back so you can play diagonal balls, to the RWF (he will be unmarked if you play him really wide, this usually gives yuo about 5 seconds of time to power a shot with gerrard from the wing or(if you are playing with garcia as winger) bring gerrard realy close to being a forward and push the DMF to an AMF giving you Alonso/Hamann AND Gerrard to take shots with time to put away a shot:

As you see, I also pushed the defense forward a bit, by taking out Morientes(our SS) we can push Garcia out wide and put in a DMF giving the team an easier way of pasing the ball, around, by using this tactic you will hadly lose the ball because you will have so many options. And Also, now that the LB is trying to get passes to Garcia, if he cn't he always has the option to play a lob/through bal, down HIS wing to the attacking LMF

Now our LB can stay offensive, he will be a long passer, whipping passes out to Garcia. Gerrard will NOT be playing CF or SS, he is an AMF running South West and he will have loads of shots because Garcia(after receiving the long pass from the LB/LMF, or short passes from Alonso/Gerrard/Hamann/Kromkamp will be able to have enough time to pass to Gerrard: Teeing him up for a shot.



So simple.... NOT. If you can understand this u can have a cookie!!

No really, if you like to pass a lot and score some nice long range goals go for the second one. If you like to play attacking through the wings choose the first.
