Hi, On pro evo4 i was king at lobbing the keeper, pro evo5 i couldnt get the hang of it and pro evo6 it seems it is exactly the same, if i chip the keeper with shoot and R1 then the chip isnt high enough and with shoot and L1 i always send it a mile high or never enough, basically i find it really hard to master this.

Just wondered if anyone has got any good tips about lobbing the keeper, cus sometimes u dont want to just keep on slotting the ball in using shoot, i want to add some variety to my goalscoring talents lol

any help would be appreciated, Absolutely loving pro evo6 by the way, hope everyone else is too.

There is a tutorial in trainig about lobbing the keeper. I am not home now but if I remeber corectly you have to press L1 and shoot (just tap the button).

think youve got it right with the l1 + shoot button but not many go in justlike real life i suppose.great when they go though isnt it.i used to score a few with reyes and bergkamp.

Everyone was great at chipping in PES4... because it was too easy. They made it harder in 5 by changing the height of the Shoot + R1, and have stuck with the system for PES6.

L1+Shoot, or pulling back as you shoot (if close to keeper) - is your only chance of success pretty much now.

i'd say that R1 chipping is harder in pes 6 than 5, but that's probably because i haven't got used to it yet. no matter how low they make the R1 chip, you do learn how to make it work in the end.

i've rarely made an L1 chip work, but if i keep struggling with R1 i guess i'll try to use it more.

i think the R1 chip maybe for really close in to trick the keeper or maybe when the keeper's on the floor or something.

r1 is for when ur real close to the keeper, when the goalie is about to take a dive at your feet, use that one
the l1 is for when the goalie is standing to far from his goal

tip. when u ar rushing the goal, aproach the penalty area in a 45 degree angle opposite to the goal, and when u are about to enter the penalty area use the L1 and let the power bar fil allmost complete, and aim for goal, it wil go in most of the time (practice)

the best way to use the r1 chip is when the keeper is charging and going to ground and even then I have seen some saves that belong in the matrix rather than pes lol.

I've scored quite a few L1 chips so far with numerous players in numerous positions.

Take into consideration the player you're using, the speed he is travelling at, the speed the ball is travelling at, how far the player has to stretch to reach the ball, and of course the position of the keeper.

Thats alot to take into consideration for what is a split-second decision but go to training and try out lots of different situations.

I've found, as a general rule, that players moving slowly, or not moving at all, chip the ball much better.

As they are not moving fast and the ball is not running away from them very fast they can get alot of height on the ball and enough backspin to pull it down into the goal.

I got lobbed at lunchtime today, it was an L1 lob that easily beat my keeper. But my defender (Terry) just stopped running and that pause cost me the goal, which wasn't great. Next time I'll keep super-cancelling to see if he'll keep going.

1- You Press L1 and when you keep pressing L1 you press or tap square.(height of the ball is up to how long you push the square button)
Avoid running with R1 when doing this shot)
2- You press square than immidiately you press R1 this is a lower one.
Practice them in amateur level friendl matches. In a short time you'll master it.

It was easier in Pes4 but i always pressed the shoot butten several times to chip the keeper. The problem I have had with Pes5/6 is that when I what to shot at normal shot it sometimes ends up with a chip that hits the keeper. Very frustrating when I just what to blast the ball in to the goal... And when i what to do the chip shot he won´t do it!

I just haven´t got the hang of the chip shot in Pes5/6
