Give me your views on which is best.

I have heard complaints only about the Logitech so far.

So far I know that the logitech does everything a ps2 pad does, except it doesnt vibrate.

About the Thrustmaster, Can you click the analogue sticks? Does it have 4 shoulder buttons, and is there start + select buttons.

I would like a quality report on both too.

I would be greatfull if anyone could find them for cheapo please, as i cant find them anywhere. (about £15 please - less if you can find it :)).

Cheers, Daniel

About the Thrustmaster:

You can click the analogue sticks. It has R1, L1, R2 and L2 shoulder buttons.

There are no start and select buttons but there are two extra trigger buttons at the back of the controller which I mapped as the start and select.

I highly recommend the Dual Power. I've had no problems at all. It's easy to install as well. You should find that any computer games shop should have these pads around. I can get them here in Australia for $30, which I'll take a wild guess and will say is about 12 pounds. Even 15 pounds is a good price for this controller, I have never heard a complaint made about it.

Oh, yer, I nearly forgot. Does te Thrustmaster have pressure sensitive buttons, like the ps2 pads or not?

No, not that I know of. I don't think that comes into play with PES3 or does it? And I don't know where to find it in the UK. All I know are online sites like gameplay.com and play.com that you can check out.

Basically, does "chip" / long pass respond straight away when you tap it, or do you have to fully hold it down for a while> Is it possible to do tap ins and on the floor shots with the pad, etc

I can't find it anywhere still - Do you know an Oz site that does orders to the UK or something? cheers, Daniel

wow I wish i'd read this earlier. I just went out and bought a P2500 Rumble Force but if I'd known I could have used a PS2 controller I would have gotten the converter

Hi,
i have the logitech Dual Action Pad and the Thrustmaster Dual pad(it's without Rumble)
and i prefere the Thrustmaster because de D-pad is more precise than de logitech but this one is a little bit smaller
anyway i think for the pes it's the Thrustmaster that you need to buy

but if you are rich man you can get the P3000 or P2500, ihave test it (after buying the Logitech :( ) and it's very nice gamepad with the rumbles you get a ps2-like Pad

PS: excuse my english but i'm better in french ;)

meh, D-pads, so barbaric =D. I use my left analogue stick for moving so I can curl it easily when I shoot or pass

With the Dual Power 3, do you have to push a button to switch between analogue and the D-pad or can you use both at the same time?

If you can't use both at the same time then :-(

Thrustmaster DUAL POWER 3 is the best pad for PC!

- very high quality
- solid design/ no tiny buttons or symbols
- no probs with PES
- price in Germany is under 20Euro.(without rumble)

if you have a PS use the converter for the Playstation pads, cause this are the best pads ever!

you dont need to install the driver for the dual power3 pad if you have XP system

I have the Logitech Dual Action pad. It's good but I have had some probs with it. Sometimes while playing PES3 the left analog stick will suddenly fail to recognise a FULL push to the right. If I exit the game to windows and check in Controller settings in control panel it the reading shows that the stick is being pushed 70-85% even when it is pushed all the way.

Unplugging it from the usb port and then plugging it back in again fixes it, BUT it comes back again when it feels like it. Getting a PS2 pad adaptor now so my m8 can play with the Logitech, (haha)
