Why do all the long passes from left midfield to right forward or right midfield always go to that ****** right back???

Always when I want to set up a nice attack the ball goes back to that ************ defenders. I HATE IT!!!!!

Does manual passing work to solve this annoying problem?

long passes with O, direction set by the Left Analogue stick.

Could it be the button configuration setting you have for long passes, the difference between Type 1 (search method) and Type 2 (manual method)?

for great passes from your own half hold L1 and press O twice or triple tap it for a lower trajectory. I put an amazing ball over the defense with this for henry to run on to.

You can get some great balls in from 40 yards by tapping O twice whilst holding L1, the cross or long pass in travels fast and fairly low so that your CF can chest it and shot or ideally, chest it, flick over head and then shoot on the volley!!

I don't know if there's anything in the manual, the only explanation in the game itself is in the Button Configuration screen.

It's all about the O button, how it passes, and where it will cross from.

Type 1 (search method): I guess O passes will go towards the nearest player in line with wherever you're pressing the Left Analogue stick.

Type 2 (manual method) is probably more sensitive, going in exactly the direction of the Left stick, regardless of where other players are.

The rest are all about variations on how O is used for crosses, whether it will make them from further up the pitch than level with the penalty area.

And stuff, I guess.
