why are long shots so easy on pro evo 2010. You storm through the middle and shoot and it most of the time go in.Defenders back of to much when your running at them.any help

I've just written the exact same thing on the main page article! It's far too easy to score long range shots and, as you say, it's down to the defensive AI constantly backing off and inviting you to shoot. I'm not sure there's anything you can do to change it to be honest, other than force yourself not to take long shots all the time.
It really is a major fault though and needs sorting for PES 2011! :realmad:
I am such a noob that I play on Amateur and I prefer to do long range shots instead of 1-on-1 cause on Amateur the goalie doesn't rush out on 1 vs 1. In Regular it does, but then it gets too hard for me and defenders just become too smart, sadly there isnt option to make GK rush out on Amateur level. Omg why am I going off-topic.. Anyways, dunno what you all talkin' bout, but I can barely score any long-ranged shots on Amateur (lol).

I find the opposite to be true. I have very little trouble breaking through the AI defense and will score practically every 1-on-1, but outside the box, I get closed down instantly by three or more defenders, and when I can get a shot off that actually stays on target (which is only about 1 in 3, even using ML players with 99 Shot Acc, Power, and Tech), the keeper saves it every single time.

I found that it's all about timing. The best way i score a long-range is either running on the center and letting the "player" make his steps to shoot properly (obviously not keeping the sprint on), or by going from the sides and running up outside the penalty area, and shooting when he is in line with the goal kick spot.
