This is a terribly written story, PES 2009 didn't come out in North America until mid-November. This means the North American sales of PES2009 in October would be zero!

Konami is a lost cause in US territory which is why I gave into buying the EU copy (I will be getting it today when I think about it). And I will do this for subsequent PES' from now on. If the online ever gets fixed the US version will be on standby.

Yea thats Right, we most put some hours to make a good American version of the game.. as I said just see how much money is moved for soccer in America Latina (example me have players like, Ronaldihno, Robihno, Kun Aguero, MESSI, rafael Marquez, Tevez, Mascherano, etc, etc) Yes among the best soccer players in the world are from America and we are a continent that loves and MAKES the good Futbol.

I'm in USA and I am having no problems with connection quality for the most part. Every now and then I'll run into a laggy game but it usually quits for me anyway. Also, I have been spending most of my online time in the "Legends" mode so I can't really speak for 1v1 or 2v2 (Network).

As for OF's for the American versions, the one from MrGameTight is really good (based on Arsenald's). The only thing you'll need to do is go in and edit most of the shirt numbers.

Oh yea... ADD PLAYERS TO YOUR SCOUT TEAM IN OFFLINE BAL MODE!!! That is if you're going to play Online Legends mode.

I must be the only person in USA that stopped playing FIFA as soon as I got my hands on PES. I don't care what anyone says, licensed teams, no licensed teams, better/worse online play... PES is miles ahead of FIFA in gameplay STILL! Sure FIFA has gotten better but the gameplay just went from an F to a C- in my opinion.
