I got Pro Evo3 for crimbo and I decided to learn all da hints & tips off this site so that I could do well against my friends who had got the game long before me and when i got it and played my mates I was scoring freekicks and corners galore and I was destroying them with da long ball game until they started lookin at my control pad and soon learned what I was doin and they started doin it themselves and it really irritates me because they wouldn't have had a clue. Have any of u out there experienced this problem? Cant wait for Pro Evo 4 on da xbox now that I have a wireless gamepad i can stand well away from them! I hate playin one of me mates cause he plays such an unnattractive game and he has done this in Pro Evo 2 aswell. He just runs back and fourth with his players and it creates huge gaps in my defence and i dont know what to do about it. Doe u think you could help me out.

PS: Am lookin forward to learning all da Pro Evo 4 tips and hints for da Xbox so I can be back to my best again. Will there be 2 seperate tips areas for the xbox & ps2 versions?

Yeh I no what you mean, my mate is, well c*ap and I can beat him about 5-0 a game, even with a team like Iraq etc, but I have recently noticed him becoming better, and when I played him, I saw him looking at my Controlar, he also looked at it when I was taking a PK and he saved it!!!

Man, you guys are wierd, why not just let it be then you would have a better time playing against someone at your capablility. You know?

PS- That was kinda odd to read.

PENALTIES are the worse they save them by looking at your pad.

It's not difficult to hide your pad.

In open play why hide it show off your brilliant skills and if they learn from you atleast you have a challenge and then, just then they might force you to improve your game! ;)

i know what you mean my cousin does it all the time but still doesn't win and my other cousin presses all the directions at the sametime so no one can copy him quite clever actually

Impossible on the analogue stick and imposible on the D-Pad as pressing down will lift the up button.

no he rubs all the buttons at the same time, so he doesn't even know where he's shooting

I beg your pardon?
Me and my mates tell each other all the tricks and stuff we figure out (when it came out and we know them all now) We hide our pads for penners, but during the game you don't get chance to look at the pad anyway, look away from the screen for a few seconds and you've lost the ball or worse, conceded a goal.

You must play against the best to beat the best. So by all of us improving at the same time, we create tremendous competition within our group.
We love to beat each other, we are all very equal but with different styles. We are also great sportsmen and help each other to improve in any area of weakness. Even though we are normally opponents. In fact this is the same for most things. I'm just lucky to have such great mates. We are more bothered about beating outsiders (which happens a lot) than each other.

I don't mind sharing my knowledge with my mates and I also let them have an update of my option file every week too. If there is ever a co-operative tournament anywhere, watch out, the Assassination Squad will be gunning for the cup.

jMz's got it right. With me there are 4 of us that have the game, though me and my one mate are ahead of the pack, however when anyone asks me for help I won't hesitate to help them. Hell they are my mates and I'm not sad enough to with-hold information just so I can beat them, I have enough confidence in my game.

Why play the game if you're not striving to be the best? ;)

my cousin who thinks he's good because of all the tricks he can do, the problem with him is that he's so competitive and when he finds something new he won't tell anyone but if i find something new he expects me to tell him, he also has a billion of excuses when he loses and he always saying when you tackle him that you either mash the x button or that your a dirty player he's a twat, but nice when he doesn't play pes3

I always say the true side of someone comes out when you are playing games/sports. Cos you are so wrapped up in what you are doing you throw etiquette out the window.
So true to form on the pitch (virtual or real) I am the perfect gentleman.
Cheats only cheat because they are shit in the first place.

I have no problem sharing what i know with my friends, but something that (how was that???) "pisse me off!" (or somthing like this) is when the bast.r.s, later says everybody that they found it and teachme!!!

How you see that?

were all guilty of at least trying to look at our opponents controller in a shoot-out right? The best place to hide it is in the front pouch of a hoodie cos you can fit both hands and the controller in it:D
