Has anyone bought him and if so how does he turn out? He's starting to play for Liverpool quite a bit so I was thinking about buying him.

Just got through mid-season negotiations, added Silva
I've played lucas quite a lot over this season, and a few in the first season.

And just after the break, he's suddenly just .... clicked. Its hard to explain, just everything he does seems briliant.

Class example: Just playing Chelsea, with United in the cup in the other half of the week. Winning 1-0 till half time, so I take Gerrard and Torres off and whip Lucas and Crouchy on. Lucas was a complete stalwart, won everything suprisingly, and last minute, outpaced the defence and scored a really good goal. Been starting ever since

Basic message is, stick with him, he'll just click one day

He has a fairly long peak in the 90-92 range, iirc, and can play any number of midfield positions. Well worth the money, particularly in the DMF role.

Very good purchase for me. I put him in DMF, defensive midfield position. He's a good tackler as well as having a decent shooting ability. I recommend to train his attacking abilities using the team training in the negotiation period. After a season, he will become a very good all rounded midfielder: fast, can tackle, can shoot, can pass.

I play as Liverpool, had him as 12th sub for 3 seasons, sold Sissoko and I noticed that despite player like one every four games, his stats were immense. So he's actually replaced Gerrard for me and is my top scorer this season (only about 8 games in)
