their most recent formation which won 4-0 against espanyol:

note that gravesen has been playing in place of guti in the previous 2 matches.

Consider also that Helguera is the best holding midfielder at Real, and he'll take his place when Woodgate recovers from injury.

beckham sometimes goes right,
figo likes to drift in to the centre like zidane
and raul plays out of position in the hole behind bigron,
also carlos runs up and down the left wing like a complete
midget nutcase! carlos rules!!
