Major online malfunction

I am having major problems getting an online game up and running - namely I can't. I've tried with a few of the lads both as host and client but it is not connecting. I've tried with firewall on and off etc etc - still no joy. No problems with any other online games and i'm not using a router. Somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong before i go back to playing billy no-mates one player on the ps2.

Dunno mate, i'm not really all that hot on PCs. Connection is 1.1mbps modem. Tried firewall on/off, exceptions box is ticked for pes4. IP addresses have been correct...like I say no probs with any other online games. It a laptop, but top spec one. Cheers

Sounds like you have similar problems to me. I was happily hosting and clienting with PES4 completely trouble free from behind my router, then suddenly nothing works! no hosting, clientin, just bloody one player!
