Hello. After two season in master league with Atletico Madrid, i have noticed some errors who ruins a otherwise really good game. Some of the errors are minor, some of them pretty huge.
1: I haven't scored a single goal from outside the box. I realised this two days ago, and then went to into training mode with the purpose of trying to score from outside the box. I tried for 10 minutes with Zlatan. I tried for 5 minutes with Ronaldo. From different areas and different angles. Result? Not a single goal scored. This error makes me feel like there's no point to play the game anymore.
As o complement to this, the R2 shot is way too weak. Come on, seriously?
2: The camera is too slow. I play with the wide camera, and often when the ball is played forward, it goes out of the screen, and the camera needs a second to catch up. This is a major problem who needs to be taken care of. This has messed up a lot of my counterattacks, because i dont see the player who receives the ball, neither how the opposite team defenders are approaching him. Result? Almost every time i loose the ball.
3: The "hutt'n'dutt"-bug. Im swedish, so i dont really expect that you know what i mean when i'm refering to with this word. But it happens a lot, when i want to clear the ball out of my penalty area that the playes just stops the ball and takes a step before clearing it. Of course this often leads to opponent attackers stealing the ball and score.
It also happens sometimes when you're attacking. You take a shot, the goalie saves but cannot hold the ball, one of your players has open goal and you press the shoot button for them to take a direkt shot in to the open goal. What happens? They stop the ball before they take a shot, instead of shooting direct. This often leads to opponent defenders steal the ball and clears it.
4: why cant i design my own formations, as i could in pes 2013? Fix this.
5: Overall ranking and development.
I played with Javi Manquillo as a starting wingback for two season in Master league. His stats are nearly the same as when i started, as is his overall ranking. And the kid is 18. You thought a player would develop when he plays two years in a row in La Liga and champions league. And why cant i compare recent stats with default stats of the players?
6: Training mode.
I dont remember in whick PES this was, but i remember a game where you could play situations again and again in training mode. From the pause screen, you could pick a commando that took you back a couple of seconds, to play that scenario again. A great feature when you were training for specifik situations. Please add this! This training mode suck. Once the ball is out of bounds, you must set up that scenario again if you want to practice it once more. And that takes a lot of time.
7: A little more fouling from the AL. I've gotten one penalty in two years of master league. Freekicks within 30 metres maybe 10 times. Yellow cards for the opponent are very rare, and i don't think i have ever seen them get a red card.
Despite all this, i still love pes 2014. At first, i hated it. I even threw my dualshock to the wall one time. But the more i played, the better i got and the more i understood. But if the november patch doesn't fix the problems with the shooting and the camera, i'm out. I've played PES for 13 years, and still each new release seems to be a compromise. there's always one or two major bugs that you cant believe were in the final version. There are a lot more little problems i've noticed, but i just don't have the energy to write them down. These are the major ones, and i really hope you fix them. If you don't, well bye bye. I will probably sell my pes 2014 and don't see why i should return to a game that always lets me down somehow.
