Making header?!

Do you guys notice the header on WE8 always go high? Any one know how to make the header more accurate? I have notice when you are really close to the goal, it is better to head the ball with :x: instead of :square: I can score on corner header 90% in WE7, I just wonder if there is a way to get it more accurate with WE8.

Mmm...I remember reading a post about this somewhere...X would pass the ball though...so not quite sure it would score. WE8 headers are more realistic I guess...and maybe pressing diagonally down left/right you can try for direction as well.

I have no problem with heading, it's more difficult in WE8 then in PES3 but it's fine. I've scored some great headers....

I find it easier to head in from corners in WE8, but anyway I read elsewhere that pressing R2 as the ball approaches causes the receiver to step back in order to keep his header/shot down. Haven't tried yet, so don't know if it's effective.

Try pressing :circle: 2 times when you want to cross, this increases your chances of heading the ball in. I've scored from crossing only with :circle: , but its more difficult.

try pressing square earlier so he jumps earlier and gets his head over the ball, think about it like real life soccer

Thanks for all the ideas. I have score a lot of headers by using X since yesterday. The only thing is you have to press -> and X when you are really close to the goal. I think the header is a little bit better when you use D-pad to direct it. I am so use to use the left thumb stick to play so when I header or do corner, I have to switch quickly to D-pad.

er...rigghht....um...religion is cool...anyways...pressing :square: is all about timing...too early and the ball will loft...time your press...not really a tip...more common sense

oh and if you have a power center forward Kovacevic, Koller, Vieri etc crossing up/left :circle: ( if your crossing from the left side, right side would be down/left) I found, most of the time will win aerial duels

for smaller speedster forwards owen,saviola,martins the low tripple tap :circle: into space...( that is if there is a gap between keeper and defence, no point in doing it if the defence is in positon)... will always gets you a

a) tap in goal
b) the defence will play pinball and result in an own goal
c) the keeper palms it away and if your in position, for you to rocket on target (smash(one smash) the life out of :square: ) people complain about how they dont get enough power on there shots from outside the area, press that :square: as if your were going for a net buster in real life, but with your finger instead of your foot....obviously
