How do I check out who's man of the match for a game? Is it just through the ratings after a match? I remember in previous versions there's a star or something beside the name of the MOTM. I don't see it in PES 2009 though.

Any help will be appreciated.

yeh i sometimes decide who the man of the match is because they usually get it wrong lets just say the keeper drops nearly every ball and u score they give him a 6.0 or 6.5 when it should be 4 or a 5

Also, on legends mode your player will always get MOTM (or MIP) if he has the joint highest rating.

8.5 is the highest I've gotten so far, by assisting a goal after coming on with 1 minute to go... lol.

ye but usually the team that won, if the case is on both teams there is one player which have the same ratings, its the person on the winning team. if they drew then decide yourself

They tend to add things to the PS2 version over the PS3 & 360 ones to give people an incentive to buy it.

Anyway, regarding the original complaint - just choose for yourself! The normal ratings are useless - they're random apart from whoever scores gets about 1 points extra.
