Well, given the furore over endings - I HAVEN'T PLAYED THE GAME YET AND DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENS - Bioware are seemingly releasing ending-changing DLC in April. I probably won't begin playing the game until May at the earliest now.

If I can make it to the release of Risen 2 (April 27th), I'll easily play that until Diablo 3 comes out in mid-May and I can delay my Mass Effect 3 experience further with more DLC hopefully released before I start.

That would be about the stupidest thing they could do :laugh: - and yet you can't say for certain they'll release it for free.

What I do know is that most people think the game and series are fantastic right up until five minutes from the end when none of the decisions you made up to that point matter. Sounds absurd.

I've seen the endings and it's pretty true, I won't say much but they're practically all the same bar 1 different thing in each ending.

I'm not sure whether I'll actually buy the game as it looks a bit rushed to me, the animations in cut scenes look a bit poor here and there and obviously the ending is a major let down. I personally feel like since Bioware got bought buy EA they've rested on their laurels and have dumbed the games down since the first one.

They've gone for the mass market approach - greater action in ME2 and the same again with a multiplayer add-on element for this one.

The same happened with Dragon Age 2 - certainly not as good as the original and leaves me expecting little from Dragon Age 3.

Basically from what I've heard, all of the choices you have made up until that point become meaningless. Just hoping they fix it properly with DLC so that when I play it I don't end up feeling like I've just been abused.
