Master League Cheaters

Does anyone play with the "anti-cheat save" option in Master League Mode? I've read some pretty crazy master league stories (team of nobodies, division 1 champs on 5*, etc, etc.) but its pretty easy to win if you just reset the Playstation every time you lose.

I only ever play on 5* and the default transfer settings but I don't use the anti-cheat save option. With such a relatively short transfer window its freaking hard to get even one or two decent players (400-500 salary points)in your first season. I find myself resetting sometimes when my transfers don't go through, just so I don't have to play a whole season with those starting bumfock nobodies. I also need to win the D2 cup to stay out of debt so I find myself cheating there too. Who wants to start all over from scratch after clawing your way to the cup final?

Anyone out there got the cajones to play 5* default transfer settings (or higher) and the anti-cheat save option?

definately.

you don't have to worry about it if you don't try and transfer more points than you have. that eliminatees all risk. take your time. you don't have to move up right away.

and ties are the key in your first season. it's tough to score with the "bumfucks" so concentrate on playing for the tie. you'll gain points through the tie.

i only picked up three very mediocre players after my first season.

a goalkeeper, a central defender, and a striker. that automatically shored up my defense and lowered the goals against me, and with even a halfway decent striker, you can get that 1 or 2 goals that make all the difference.

the most satisfying part of ML is scraping by with medicore players and it taking a while to get promoted. its much more satisfying when you DO sign that big player that puts you over the top. don't be greedy, enjoy the experience.

I too sometimes do the same thing...but also another thing i notice is that the computer cheats when you are on a run of wins. Anything that can go wrong will, ie players miss passing or running into each other etc. anyone notices this??

i started by ML on 3* (thats coz i used to suck) but now i am on 5* and won the Treble on 5* and that was hard... come down from 2 goals down v inter in the CL final with 5 min games...

i play with the anticheat/qutosave option on 5*
not default trasnfer setting though, think i set to "com will only accept players with a somewhat high ability level" and "the com will be reluctant to carry out any transfers"

wanted it do be realistic

saying that i dont play ML anymore coz its shite

I always use the anti-save feature. I used to cheat by putting player stats. to 1, then signing them and defaulting them. But now, I use 5* and cheat prevention on without cheating. It is much more fun now. I just managed to get promoted with only Eto'o and now I have offered for several good players that contracts have run out.

i would like to use it but am always starting a game to be called away to something stupid like collage, so i would loss money. the feature is a good idea to stop people who are tempted to cheat, but i dont think i could restart a game, i feel like a cheat.

i will admit i use cheats in games but only for frist time getting use to controls, i feel there is no use in gettin kill 40/50 time in a game becouse u dont know how to play, use 1 cheat learn hpw to play, turn the cheat of and inprove.[/morral speach]

lol,my first ever match on pro ev 3 was a 4-1 defeat of real on 5* with Roma(no stats changed)

I've stopped using cheat prevention because I was once winning 3-0 and we had a powercut and it tried to say I lost 4-0....would never cheat though.
