Master League Default Team

OK, so this is not the most important aspect of the game (at all), but I have bought and played (for hours and hours) every game in the PES-series for PS2, and every time I start a new ML (always with default players) I dream about having a certain amount of points, instead of getting the same old faces with slightly different names...

Is there a question here? Well, yes: have any of you actually "cracked" the game, or whatever it is you do, and ended up being able to change the default team? I don't want them to be a better team, I just want them to have different names, look different, dress different, tell new jokes in the locker room etc.

Oh, and I can't wait for the PS3 to come out so that we can see a new generation of PES hit the shelves...


P.S. Why is it that the PS2 seems to struggle in keeping up with PES5? How can a console lag?!

You could go on edit mode then edit player and go down to 'base copy' and base copy all the ML default players and change there names to what ever and change there apperance to what you wanted and there nationality.
then start a ML go to the 3rd choice and select Create a team and take all the original deault players off your list and add the players you made up in edit mode. so your still playing as the default team but jst a default team as how you like it to be.

If you have the PESfan Editor you can edit the Master League deafult players names and stats, i don't think you can change their appearances though. You can also edit all the promising players names and stats aswell.

That wouldn't work because you can't add created players to your created team... Maybe if you made them over PES United or something, but then you'd have to do it all by hand without copying the ML players first.

[EDIT] Oh by the way you do get ten new players this time around, so it isn't all the same. Maybe in WE10 you'll get a few more, i'm hoping for a new star player to move into the default team.

Oh and a the console wouldn't lag, it would just slow down if too much data (or whatever you would call it) was on the screen at any one time. The crowd just tips that scale in PES5, that's why they removed it.

But it looks like they found a way around the crowd issue, because in WE9 J-league they have added an option to turn the crowd on or off.
