Ok, i know Liverpool are a good side but imo they're easily the luckiest side around. They should never have beaten AC in the 05 CL and I very much doubt that they'll ever win the prem under Rafa "the rotator" Benitez. Also the main reason i wrote that load of bollocks is cos of that guy Danny who doesn't know what he's on about. Going around tryin to tell everyone to sign Jermaine Pennant, sayin that Newcastle are the only club side with licenses kit (ok maybe he meant prem but Spurs are licensed too), signing Fernando Meira, and Fernando Pato from AC Milan - (never heard of him, maybe Alexandre Pato?).

Sorry but theres no way you can say coming back from 3-0 down is lucky.

AC thought they'd already won, they where already celebrating at half time in the changing rooms, they expected liverpool to roll over and give up, but they never, all liverpools goals where good goals in that match, not lucky!!!

Tbh i think that British sides in general struggle against the top continental sides in Europe. IMO both British Champions League wins have been pretty unconvincing. OK maybe lucky was the wrong word but I don't think that Liverpool should have won the final. Benitez got his tactics all wrong in the 1st half and AC were all over the place after the break.

BTW Smicer's goal in CL final was a lucky deflection and u could easily argue that Alonso's penalty rebound was lucky.

how was being first to a rebound lucky, he was quickest to react to the keeper not being able to hold the ball, how is that lucky??

You could argue that arsenal gettting a draw against man u was lucky but we know it wasnt it was deserved from previous play, please talk sense if your going to argue

Benitez tactics, milan ripped us apart in the first, after stunning us with the first goal, how can you blame the manager for that?

Fabregas has been doing well for you for a couple of seasons, when he does it week in week out for 9 years come back and say hes better

Its just a chant mate, I never came up with it and i don't necesarilly agree with it, it's just a bit of fun. About Alonso's pen - it's lucky cos he missed the penalty kick but got away with it cos the keeper put it back into his path. I don't agree with what you said about Benitez's tactics either, part of the reason that AC tore you apart was because of his tactics. Kaka was running it then Hamann came on and basically man marked him out the game. My point being that Benitez should have done this from the start.

Kaka can run the show in any game when hes on form, you cant change your whole tactics for one good player

when your playing milan they have more than one good player

If this argument will end if I admit that Liverpool aren't pish then I'm happy to do so and tbh I don't know why i wrote that but now I'm kind of glad that I did because this has been a good bit of banter.

Yeah, I agree but I still feel that Kaka was allowed far too much freedom in the first half. They could have played Hamann without changin their whole tactics. i don't think that Liverpool could have expected to have most of the possesion in the first half against a Milan side with technically more gifted players therefore I think that Benitez should have compensated for this and played Hamann from the start.

Hopfully you can accept the list of young ML players in your ML player thread as an apology for that stupid post lol.

Hey guys, finally settled on PSV Eindhoven, but even using the kickass guide posted here , I couldnt get the default mob going, so I used PSV's normal players, who arent anything special tbh, all the good ones are getting old.

When's the first transfer window ? I'm going to try sign Larsson for a solid goal machine(though Farfan fired a hat-trick to start the season off in great style). Anybody got any good names for a good right winger, a solid central/defensive mid and a solid centre back who are all cheap, and preferably young(ish) so i can get a good few seasons out them.
