Master League pre season games

Sorry if this has been discussed before. I've had a break from PES 2010 and have just got back into master league. After two seasons now i have not been offered to play any games after the regular season (pre season) and was wondering if it was because my team ranking wasnt high enough for offers to play against me or there is some new menu option i have to go into to accept game offers. Of course the other reason may be because its been left out of the game this year but i dont recall seeing any talk of this feature being cut.

Any help would be appreciated.

i have gone for 5-6 seasons and there are no pre season games. its all for negotiations

Its strange that they would remove this. I used to enjoy the pre season games, you could try out all your new signings and mess around with new formations etc. not to mention it was actually realistic.

yep, i used to drop the difficulty a level for these to simulate a more laid back approach then add a few random ones leading up to a mini tour of maybe italy, three games playing the likes of roma, lazio then parma or a tour of france, spain... you get the idea.

these were also good for getting your balance up to a more attractive figure if you were skint.

I do miss them also. I would create a pre-season tour and play against a select 3 sides. At times it would be sides I hadn't played before, the champions of the 3 other leagues or sides that finished nearer the relegation zones. They were good opportunities, as said in previous replies, too test out new signings and if like me you had a created side, see how your new kits looked on the field of play.
