This is for me the one and only thing I absolutely want to have, and I have wanted it since I played the first Pro Evo on PS1.
If any of you have played Player Manager on the Commodore Amiga, you will know what I'm talking about. Basically you started a new game and it generated a whole load of random players, with random names and stats, and the teams could be the same names as they are now. This means, every single time the player picked this mode, they would have a different experience and seeing as all the names, stats etc are randomised - no two games are the same which gives real meaning to scouting players out and discovering some cool players.
It worked amazingly on Player Manager and the early Championship Manager games ('93 for example) and if it was an option on the Master League initialization, not everyone would have to do it but it would increase the longevity for me 20 fold.
It seems everyone's so concerned with licenses and such these days and that's fair enough - they can keep on adding these as they acquire them, but this would be a totally separate mode that uses club names where applicable but all random players. Now, by 'random' i don't mean Lampard would play at Spurs and Ronaldo at Everton. I mean completely randomised stats on randomised names evry single time, perhaps generated from seeds if memory is an issue which would still mean a huuuuge amount of combinations of players names and stats etc.
Okay, well that's my idea and I hope some of you agree. I have hoped for this for so long and I still doubt they will ever do it because most people would rather see Chelsea's badge or whatever in the game than to get a mode like this which would add soooo much to the game's replayability and depth.
Cheers,
Daz
