Hey, just a quick question. I've heard.read that you can buy players befroe the ML season starts, but when i played it i just started like normal with players like catlio, ordaz and ruskin.

Is it a different option before you start out of the 3?

Cheers

Nah, if you do create your own team, then you can just add whoever you want to your team. Even players like Gerrard & Kaka but ruins it in my opinion.

I've never added whoever I wanted. Have added free agents in the past.

yeh what JoeH says is how it is

don't forget tho, when the first transfer window comes up, you can loan ANY player you desire. That can come in handy in your first season

i mind i loaned Park from Utd, i thought i done an excellent peice of business, then found out on here you can loan anyone :p

i reckon konami did this on purpose to give us the option of using it or not

I have trouble loaning players to be honest...

So I don't know why you say it's easy to loan any player.

I play it on top player, very hard and have tried to sign many players on loan such as Djourou, Pennant, Bendtner and many others.

It is quite difficult, unless what you mean is, when you create a team, it's easy to loan any player.

Because when I try it with let's say Aston Villa, it's nion impossible...

Any tips?

PlayStation 2.

The only player I can recall ever getting on loan was Gary Caldwell for my created team. That says it all really...

Struggle to ever get anyone half decent unless it's a permanent deal.

I play on PS2 too and as well on Top Player and the Master League level in Very Hard. And I created my own team.
It's like JoeH said. It's VERY difficult to buy or loan anyone. Even though my team has "S" popularity, it's the leader of the league and classified for Champions League. I mean, I didn't try any of "top" players, but some of good options (free agents).
Kind of unreal to be honest.

I play top player but set my negotiations to easy. Every player I've attempted to loan has come to me (platform=PS3). And thats on my default ML team in Div 2, not my main 1 (shown on signature).

i have loaned 1 player for manutd and that was david silva but i dont like what konami have done cause its un realistic u may aswell never buy any 1 and just loan each year it just takes the edge off the game and is a disapointment

I think I will start up with default player then only begin to build up a strong team with slowly signing new good player

Maybe Im missing something, but Im playing PES 2009 for PC and cant start with any squad I want to (say, create my own team and select Kaka, Messi, Ronaldo, etc). It gives me limited money to spend and its around 1000. Meaning, I can only buy one very good player and nothing more (you have to use the rest of the default ML players).

I remember in previous editions of the game, that once you wont I think the International Cup, you were handed the possibility to start the game with 100000 cash.

Is there any way you can start a Master League in PES 2009 with the team you want (even if its created) and buy/include the players you want? I certainly cant do it in PC.

Its kinda silly that the game would allow you to loan any player but they wont give you the option of starting a Master League with a team including your favorite players.
