Ok, so my WE9 is in Japanese and only the player names are in English.

In the trading period I have a gold diamond next to Van Persie's name. I saved it, and went to the next week to see what happened. He got traded away. How do I make him stay or prevent this from happening?

Presumably you have a chipped PS2 then, in which case get Fernando's translation patch. Search in Download Centre.
