I'm playing a ML on Proffesional and I am now semi trough the third season. So far I have won D2 and the D2 cup, my first season I won both D1 and the D1 cup and in my third season I am number one again. I have promoted to club popularity S and it seems to be a pretty good season again in both D1, cup and championship cup. Now to the "big" problem: I cannot buy any players:S. I have got Kompany, Jan Koller, Gambino and of course I have bought the new GREAT DANE Kasper Schmeichel and made him him first Goalie!! For free I have got: Abidal, Milner, Paoulo Ferreira and Crespo. I have tried to buy Frey, Buffon, Chech, Agger, Becks, Gattuso, Arshavin, Van der Vaart, etc. But there is nobody who wants to transfer to me. I offered 30000 vp for Gattuso with a salary of 2800 vp, but he just turned it down:S. Is it supposed to be that difficult to buy players or should I offer salaries in the category of stupid at 5000 vp??? Thanks for helping;).

Every1 has had this problem. Transfers can be effected by how many players you have in that chosen position and years of contract. Perhaps try to limit the contract to 3yrs and throw in 1 of your players. It took me forever to prise Walcott away from Arsenal, cost 30000 plus Martins. And some players still won't come to me, been trying to sign Ramon (GK) from Villa since starting master league and I still can't get him. Even though he's now second choice there and is 100% on my scout list.

I just think you gotta keep persisting with it, i finally got Aguero on a 3 year contract & about 2500 salary after the bid was accepted, had to trade Piatti & about 35000 but it got the job done.

He's another player I can't get. Can get him on load for nothing but when it comes to signing him he says no thanks.

thanks. but how many seasons have you played then? Its pretty annoying, when I have 160000 vp and just not have any good players to get for even I pay totally high price and salary. I just work harder to get the fav. players then.

I've just started my 4th season, i must've went in for Aguero a total of a dozen times, i am at S popularity, had 220K PES points, just went with an over the top bid as detailed previously but i think it was because i offered a resonably high contract but only over 3 years, then obviously when it comes to re-newing it he will probably agree to the full 5 then.

Hmm okay, then I just have to keep up my hard work:). Its just a bit lame that Agger and Fabregas have transfered to fucking Lyon, when I cant by almost anyone:S.... Wierd thoug when I tried to bring back Becks to United I offered a transfer vlue 12000 vp, but the same week he transfered to a team not that good who offered a transfer value around 6000 vp. I just dont get it.

I know what you're saying mate, i dont think there is any reasoning behind the transfers in master league, it's just your donald duck whether you get the players you've short listed or not.
