Dear All

I have just started a new ML where i am only using the default and youth players. i will sell players but only use the youth squad thereafter. has anyone done this and how do the players turn out? Surely this must make thr game more intersesting. Just an idea but least i aint playing wiv Barca. lol. Barca are cool in their own way. Discuss Please?

The default youths are lacking in good central midfielders, but otherwise with (apologies for being off on some names, going from a dodgy memory) Fatecha, Palmieri, Schmidt, Matterson mean your back 4 is set for a decade. Palaez and Shimuzi give you attacking width, or just Palaez out wide and Shimuzi as the attacking midfielder behind Schwarz as the target man CF. Not a bad long term foundation.

Agree with Capt Canuck. Your back 4 will be solid, El moubaki and Ruskin also fair reasonable well in Full Back positions if you choose a classic back 4, Schwarz isn't the quickest but he is big and strong and can hold the ball up for your wingers.

Don't rule out Oscar he might be low in overall rating but I play him as a DMF to just break up attacks then give the ball to someone who knows what to do with it.

I played the game like you are for a few seasons and after romping the D2 came 6th in the Premier league, although I was lucky to get a decent RMF in my youth team after my 1st season.

ive also started new master league with PES United and plan to only use my default and youth players, currently approaching end of first season and look like winning D2 but expecting a much harder time once i get promoted to premiership. youth players ive promoted so far are Palmieri cos you need a rock at the back, Schwarz and Pelaez (kid could open a tin o beans wi that sweet left peg o his). Hope to get shimizu at end of season when ive got the funds.
