Did you transfer the files using the software included with the Max Drive? And did you make sure you unzipped the files.

no I did unzip (with winrar) it first, then put it on the MD, uncrushed the file to the MC, and I still get the blue xport logo

Sounds like you're trying to transfer an X-Port file? Make sure it is of filetype .max or you cannot transfer it with a max drive. If you can only get the file as .xps then go to the File Downloads -> Tools section to get the file convertor.

yeah I did....I didn't use the pc software, but I did with the ps2...and I also unzipped it with winrar. It comes out as a .max file, but somehow it has an xport logo on it...I'm truly desperate...the game just doesn't make sence with all the fake names

noop...that didn't work either...is there maybe a format programme or something for the mc downloadable? I now have two corrupt cards because all of this, and 2 new ones which I'm pretty affraid to try now...maybe if I could really delete everything on the corrupt cards I can try a couple more times without worrying to get stuck with 40 cards and none actually working

I think that isn`t a real problem - cause, I took this V1 file, aswell as PES4 option V3.0 from PESFAN, and on the memorycard browser, it is visible as X-PORT, but both of them worked propperly for me...

With the MAXDRIVE software for PS2, you can format memorycard, the same thing happened to me... I corrupted them with WE9 option file, but, when you have browser screen on the MAXDRIVE software, highlight your MC and press square... (you should read manual prior to use -I haven`t read it also:laugh: ), and that should format your MC. Only cost is that you will loose all the saves of all the games... If you can transfer any of them, do it first!

it puts the file onto the max drive but when plugged into the ps2 it isnt there to select what's gone wrong??

Are you using the max drive ps2 disk?

when i look in "my devices" on the ps2 is says that there are no files to copy but i downloaded the max drive v2 option file, right clicked it and sent it to the memory stick.

Did you send the .zip file or the .max file?
Only .max files will transfer to the mem card with the max drive.

Sorry guys this isn't a question.

Just to say i got my Max Drive today from play.com and it was definetley worth the wait

I had no problems at all transfering the V2 option file, as i thought i was gonna get stuck somewhere after reading a few threads but it is so simple to do
