Anyone know how to change the max no of subs in ML?

I know you can do it in friendly setups, but I'd like Pongolle and Riise some ML pt besides my usual 3 subs

lol.. you got me

there is a trend in most of our sports that is more prevalent now then ever- coaches now leave specialty and talented (sometimes *very* talented) players on the bench so that when their number is called, they provide serious momentum and lift for the club.. most of these players actually prefer this role and would scoff at a starting position

this is most prevalent in basketball and baseball and some in football

but no doubt you guys know about this thing.. but yeah I know there's only 3, I was just looking to broaden my options.. not to mention I was pissed with my core of strikers for awhile there, and was wanting to make them sit and still have enough left to make my midfield/defensive subs

as you may have noticed with the recent alan shearer shenanigans at Newcastle(im on sir bobby's side on it i'll have everyone know), dropping a star player in a crunch game is frowned upon as much as losing to wales(scotland suck ass). i have noticed that with Basketball tho, iveson comes off of the bench and the 76er fans all go crazy, whats up with that? altho i can see a similarity. when Liam Miller came on during the Bayern Munchen game at Celtic Park this season, i was among the 58000 tim malloys who went mad. much to our dismay, he put in a lack-lustre performance against an experienced, physical midfield too used to playing against the likes of Miller.

another thing about US sports is that we can sub a player out, and back in again.. that's prolly why you saw AI coming off the bench..

a player who exemplifies the lift from off the bench is Bobby Jackson for the Sacramento Kings.. the 2nd or 3rd best player on that team, yet coming off the bench and not starting, he forces defenses to go "oh shit, now this guy's on"

its a totally different environment. i think football friendlies should maybe introduce this in a sort of experiment.

Imagine rolling subs in football (which, may I add, FIFA has seriously suggested), it would be terrible.

The time wasting from the likes of, not naming any names, but, Portuguese teams would be ridiculous.
