Just got it! It's great! You have a percantage camaflouge-o-meter. I chose normal difficulty, havent got that far yet though.

Just finished MGS3 a few days ago and the game is stunning,both graphically and story-wise.It's a bit more difficult than MGS2 but imo the best in the series.I just luv the theme song btw..snake eater...

oh shit i just finished snake eater and words can't describe the emotions i'm feeling right now. MGS3 is the best game in the history of man kind!!! whoaaa i dunno where to start. i finished normal mode with crocodile ranking(it's pathetic) in 11 1/2 hours(laugh at me) with 1 retry. take all the best movies ever made, or books ever written (LOTR, star wars, blah blah blah) and put them together, still the plot of metal gear series beats all of them hands down. i'd give this game 10/10. and what's even better is that its more realistic than any other rpgs!!! and it's difficult to play too!!

and the ending is totally unexpected and original. there was even a twist!(sort of) one word: WOW!
the ending was really touching. i felt like crying after watching it. conclusion: hideo kojima is a god. if you haven't got MGS3, you should be jailed.

what difficulty did you select? the only difficult part bout the shagohod stage is fighting volgin i think. i think volgin is the hardest boss. even harder than boss herself.

I got the original snake eater song from kazaa,took a while..
A remix version i got from metalgearonline.org under the downloads section..
And shaft,when you fight volgin..i suggest a stun grenade.
I used this cheap method to beat him,but of course you need an ample amount to do this..like 15.
As for the shagohod fight i suggest using the sneaking suit camo,that way you don't have to worry about your life bar..

yeah youre right this game is indeed brilliant! din noe bout this thread at first. but just bought the game 2-3 wks ago ,just started playin seriously around 2 day s ago. now at the base part u know the east wing of the weapons lab of ... base...like callin it gronkjaer base.lol.yup pretty much killed or interrogated those ppl there but how do u make the door open?!!!? i noe the frequency's 186.** or wat but gosh, i went everywhere but cant progress any further! can u help me? do u needa stand right in front facing the door or wat? thnx. cant wait to get past and fight volgin or shagohod! yeah but up till now my favourite boss battle is gainst the fury.that place i sjust like a mini maze.i like to just play the role of the end u know campin somewhere wait for fury to appear then svd him i mean the satisfaction's great! 2nd is gainst the end cuz he seemed invincible to me at first! that was the previous part i was stuck at. but that battle was fun, cum to tink of it eh? once i was jus snipin, binocularing the surroundings ahead then he just appeared behind me.wow that was probably the best part of the game for me. then i got fed up, ran around the area searchin for him.then he shot at me,i found out his whereabouts at the 'cliff'like ridge near the armoury and i sneaked up to him.jus like the way he did. serves him right.then bang,wat a waste din get his camo ,gun in time!damn!btw the game's almost perfect except there could be more diff. weapons meaning less of same type like mk22...more cool weapons wud do.plus if the environment was more interactable(i noe now it is already) i bet it would be fantastic! jus luv the game luv stalkin enemies. (thou im nt a fan of mgs counterstrike halflife etc in fact this is my first mgs game!) cheers for the game dun 4get to help! thnx a lot!!!!

I'm exactly in this place.. I know I've said that I already passed it but, (to know how stupid I am) I deleted the save file by mistake. So, I had to start all over again. I'm stucked at the same place where rcarlosshooto stucked at. the last time a friend of mine passed this place and copied the save file to me.. this TIME I'm all alone and I need some help.. would you help us (me and rcarlosshooto) please?

i didn't have to enter those locked doors to find raikov. i just found him in the library. lol.
