It's not better than the GTA's or PES or TimeSplitters but probably the best stealth game and has a lot of good gadgets.

it took me ages to beat the end as i didnt relise you could leave the first area i remember at one point he snuck up on me! lol i couldnt belive it when i saw his rifle pointing at me im just on the mountain bit now i love the game all though the cameras tricky to get used to at first as i aint played metal gear since number 2

This was my first time i played metal gear since the first time it came out im still trying to find my way on this game, how long do you have to stay in the jungle for because its getting irritating.

you spend about three quaters of the game in the jungle,the rest is in either the mountains or indoor labs and stuff

Ah damn the jungle was starting to annoy me as the guards are hard to spot and the camera angles are really poor aswell i cant get used to it. Part from that class game.

You can get porno mags in this when you get to the base, but I think the guards would get suspicious at jazz mags in the jungle. Also you can feed the guards off-meat and if you capture snakes or spiders live you can chuck them at the guards and if you're lucky the guy will get bitten.

Snake Eater is the best game that I've played on the PS2 and before that it was Sons of Liberty. I don't know what you made of MGS2 but if you enjoyed it as much as I did then you won't be disappointed.

metal gear solid looks like a quality game. The idea of using stealth in the jungle to outwit your enemies is fantastic. Climbing trees, catching your own food such as fish and other new features are going to make this the best metal gear solid yet!!!

Yes

I think that The Cure option is a great addition to the game, even better than catching your own food

Guy's i finnally got solokov out of that place......during the cutscene i thought that i atually take solokov out of the place in game........i was like man this is going to be hard with all this soldirs around.......now i am in the level where that woman, The Boss beats you up blow that shit up...........the game is sweet man.

Cheers travis Bickle i got the game from Game for £30 argos had no copies left, the game is too difficult thats even on normal level. Its much more difficult then splinter cell games. Im on the level where you meet Solokov for the first time. The guards are too clever.

I personally think you can't compare GTA to MGS3, you can't compare TimeSplitters to MGS3 and you defintly can't compare PES4 to MGS3.....one is a footbal game the other is a action adventure game

But everyone has their own opinion.

I clocked the game this afternoon. I was playing it on the normal level and it took me 32 hours (5 days!) to complete it. The Cobras and the Boss were pretty tough to beat, I gotta say. It took me over 2 hours to beat the End (that stage is all about endurance) and then I couldn't beat the Boss, but I persisted and after the umpteenth attempt (after trying several different techniques) I finished her off. What a ride!
