I completed the game at like 3.00 am on Sunday and now currently watching my brother fighting Liquid Ocelot. Got to Screaming Mantis before midnight at that time I knew there would be no point in me going to my bed as I had work at 7.00 am. I enjoyed the game. Final cutscene took awhile only for the credits to roll and then another half-hour scene with Big Boss. Thought it was great to see Big Boss come back but disappointed that he came back at the end of his game to talk about him, FoxDie, Patriots etc only to just die again.

Good game and definitely the best game on the PS3 so far.

That is strange because my PS3 automatically switches to 1080p for this game, even though it only says 720p on the box.

However, what you can do is go to display settings on the PS3 menu, select output resolution settings > HDMI > Custom. Then you'll see all the resolutions available. Uncheck 720p and 1080i only leaving 1080p checked. Confirm the settings and your done.

If you go back to playing a 720p game though, you'll have to recheck the 720p resolution.

I have all the resolutions checked and it still automatically changes to 1080p, so why yours doesn't, is a mystery.

Yeah my local BB use let us rent consoles, but those were the Dreamcast, N64 and PSOne era.
