yeah it is possible. Go to the file downlaods section and ahve a look at the many available patches. For we7i, use XPatch and the Jonboyo patch, While for PES3, use the last JB patch.

Cheers mate! It all looks like a lot of hard work to me, and if Im correct, you need to be burning discs etc and have a modded PS2 or this slide card thingy. I would be happy to use the slide card, but I dunno if I can be bothered obtaining the nesessary diploma that u need to change all the bloody files....

Its actually quite easy. Nothing hard. You just extract files of the PES3 DVD. Use the rip kit. Patch it with PPF o matic. insert back in. burn. What game do you ahve? WE or pES.

Ive got PE3. I kinda understand some of the patching (I managed to do it on my PC), but I dont have a dvd burner to make 'back ups'. It would be very expensive experiment just to get the real strips....

You can burn it to Cd easily. just follow the simple asy guides. Its reeally easy, esp PES3. WE7I is slightly harder to patch and burn for Slide Card users.

WE7i is easy to patch. I though PES3 was to removing all the DVD Checks etc.. but I got it first time :)

i have a neo 2.0 mod chip and i use gameshark 1.9, i boot a ripped we7i no problem, does anyone know if I can boot up japanese imported games? i want to pre order one but im not sure if ill be able to play...thanx a lot

Im with this guy. Cept i dont have pes3 on pc and dont intend to get pes4 either on pc.

Right as i understand it in order to get the real kits etc (its all im interested in, i dont care how i get them or whose they are) i need to either

A) mod my ps2 - no thanks its 2 months old

or

B) get a 'slide card' which from what i can gather involves removing the front of the disc tray and sticking something in the drawer coupled with a special disk that will fool my ps2 into thinking im not trying to play a version of PES3 thats been messed with.

assuming that this 'slide card' will work with my aqua ps2 and assuming ive got the bottle to rip the front off the drawer, i would then need a 'modded' version of pes3 on disc to effectively play the game from. Unfortunately i have no idea how to do this despite reading all the guides on this site. I dont however think that makes me a fool as i work in an IT dept and no-one else can work it out either (ok we're not the best IT dept in the world, meh :) )

Basically, and i shall say this only once in an attempt to avoid annoying,

Can anyone whos up for the task please PM me (or reply inthread so other n00bs may benefit) with some simple instructions on what i need to do and where i can buy it from, excluding any techinical malarky which im really not up for.

I come from a large group of PES enthusiasts who unlike me do not own Pcs yet all have agreed they would pay cash for a version of PES3 with kits etc. So it just might be worth your while if you can help.

The modchip is illegal in the UK - I have updated the first post which has removed UK based links to modchips such as the Messiah. In other countries, modchips may not be illegal and due to the amount of members in the forums, some people may complain at the number of links to a website of a modchip they prefer. People who find NON-UK based links to Modchips, please PM Me. I will update all by sunday.
