whats the best way for me to play WE8 on my PAL PS2 without soldering because i cant lol I've read all this thread and its still confusing. thanks

Get a slide card and awap magic combo mate. its real simple to set up, just take the front tab off the tray, use the slide card to open close the tray whilst swapping discs....takes 5 mins to do the first time, then its quicker once you are setup. Its worth the investment at about £24-30. You simply cant go wrong with that. Anyway back to the game!! i'll post impressions later!

I have got the MATRIX INFINITY, and it works absoluty great for me..... I wanted to buy a slidecard, but I went for a chip anyways. Don't regret that anyways...

swap magic 2.0 w/ slide card for WE8 not working... :(

this technique worked for WE7, and now It won't. Are there any proven methods for WE8 with out chipping out there? Also has anyone else had this problem. Do you know of the fastest cheapest way to get me playing it. I would appreciate all the suggestions.. :L1: :x:

You must be doing something wrong as WE8 and Swap Magic work 100%. Trust me I know. If you have the CD-RIP, the Table of Contents maybe to big for Swap Magic quota.

I have the original import, not a cd rip... will it work with original?

hi guys,wanna get proper kits in pes3 - i'm abit of a newbie-which way if chipping is the best for getting the kits with sponsors etc on them? is it easily done?if i get the slide card can i do this? :rolleyes:

i know this has probably been asked thousands of times and sorry if it has but id just like to make sure before i buy these things that theres nothing else i need. so all i need to play we8 on a pal ps2 is:

a slide card with swap magic dvd
NTSC compatable TV
RGB Scart table

i was wondering if the "Slide Tool" and "Slide card" are the same thing, because an aussie site i was looking at was calling it a Slide-Tool.

just want to be sure before i buy it, thanks

In relation to the above post, I live in Australia and bought the Slide Card + Swap Magic Disks off www.quantronics.com.au. Cost $39.95 + $9.00 Dollars for express post. The instructions provided are terrible but once you get the hang of it, it works perfect.

Dunno... Maybe the slide-card is only the slide-card and the slide-tool includes the slide-card and the discs (DVD/CD)....

Please Help We8???

i use swap magic and slide card, i have a DVD rip on CD that's called Miracle rip. i have the original DVD (purchased from play-asia) and just wanted to see if this version would work with swap magic.

the problem i am experiencing is i can load the game no problem with the swap magic boot cd, scroll through all the we8 menus, watch players walk out, line up, etc, but as soon as i kick off the game freezes!

can anyone help?
