This will let you know the basics and how much work is required. But not all of this applied to WE7 just yet so don't go ahead and try it yet!

"Version 1.1
Hey! Welcome to the first guide I've ever written for the internet. This guide will explain what you need to do to get your game (and you) up to speed as to what the online community is doing to edit Winning Eleven 6:Final Evolution. I do not take credit for discovering this, all I'm doing is making a step by step guide with as much detail as possible. There ARE other ways to accomplish the same result, but you will, GUARANTEED, get a copy of your version of Winning Eleven 6: FE with all these perks.
Programs and items you will need:
A clean version of Winning Eleven 6:FE (This game is on CD)
Clone CD - Burning program
CDMage - CD Image explorer utility
PPF-o-matic - Patching program
Rh4psody's 100% translation patch (And possibly winrar to un rar it. Win rar is a zipping utility similar to Winzip)
Solidus Jose 2k's Chant patch (Or Antiz chant patch, it's really your preference)
PESV's kanban_tex.bin file
Music of your choice (Mp3 format is fine)
Nero Wave editor (bundled in the latest Nero release)
AFSExplorer
adxencd.exe

1) Create a clean image of WE6:FE
To do this launch Clone CD and put the WE6:FE cd in your drive. Click on the read to image file button. (First one) Leave everything at default. If you're using Clone CD 4, make sure Game CD is clicked. Hit next. Now, on the next screen, click Browse. Save the file 'image.ccd' to the DESKTOP so you can find it easily. Hit ok, then next. Let the computer do what it needs to, don't use it during this time though! Make sure the screen saver and any other programs are closed or else you risk errors or the read failing. You should be left with at least two files: Image.img and Image.ccd. If you have anymore, don't worry about them. Image.img is the one you use all the time, ignore the others.
2) Patching the Image file with Rh4psody's patch.
I've taken this from Dannyboy, who explains how to un-Rar Solidus Jose 2k or Antiz's and Rhapsody's files:
-Open Winrar
-In the bottom window find the patch_wedoit_we6fe.rar file you downloaded, click once.
-Click the EXTRACT TO button at the top
-In the new window, specify where you want the patch file to be extracted to (Extract to your desktop). Click OK
Now, Open up PPF-o-Matic. This program is a CINCH to use, it's great! Run it. Click the disk icon next to ISO file. Look for your Image.IMG file (not image.ccd) Now, click the disk icon next to patch and search for Rh4psody's Patch. It will be on your desktop and called "WE6FE__WEdoIT_v1.0_.ppf" if you didn't change it. Select it, then click apply. Once done. Do the same thing, only when looking for the patch this time, apply your chant patch of choice. Hit apply.
You now have a 100% translated game with new chants if you burn it here. But if you go on...
3) Getting the files out that you'll replace.
This is pretty simple. Open up the program CDMage. Go to file, open, and select image.img. When the box comes up, select "M2/2352 track" and hit ok. Your image is now loaded. Select "Track 1" and you'll see a file directory show up in the window in the right. Right click "Filedata.afs" and select extract files... Save it to your desktop.
4) A. Preparing your music files
Run Nero Wave editor. Click open, and then look for your favorite mp3. You're going to edit this and other songs to be your own personalized music for the game. Now, what you are going to have to do is edit the sound file to these EXACT LENGTHS:
Main Menu Track 1 (BGM_SELECT_SET1.wav): 2:37:848
Main Menu Track 2 (BGM_SELECT_SET2.wav): 2:39:360
Main Menu Track 3 (BGM_SELECT_SET3.wav): 2:39:248
Replay music (BGM_REPLAY.WAV): 26:883
Demo Music (BGM_PDEMOS.WAV): 2:40:024
All times are in the format Minutes:seconds:milliseconds(I believe). The second name is what you will save your final file as. Add fade in's, outs, anything you desire. The song just has to be that length to work. Note: All songs can clock in at 2:40.! They do NOT have to be the exact lengths to work. I suggest you do it that way though so you can learn the process, and then later you can go in and re-edit your music. Zoom in with the Magnifying glass to cut files perfectly. When you're done, go to File, Save as.. and in the file name box, put in the corresponding name. Go to options, and make sure you input 24000 as the frequency (type it in, it's not one of the choices) and the bits 16 and channels as Mono. Save the files to your desktop.
4) B. Creating your .adx files
Right click your sound file and select "Open as..." Go to browse, and look for your "Adxencd.exe" program. Select it. It will save your new .adx file in the same folder where your program is, so make sure you can find it. Do this for all your songs.
NEW!! Looping your tracks
This is slightly difficult, b/c if you're not familiar with dos, you may get confused. Follow this EXACTLY if you have no familiarity with Dos.
First, move all of your music files (the .wavs AND .adx ones) that you have just created to the C:\ drive. Don't put it in any specific folder, just the main drive. Also, move your adxencd program to the C:\ drive as well. Go to Start --> Run and type in cmd. This will bring up a command screen. (Everything is case sensitive from here, so type this EXACT) First, type in cd C:\, and hit Enter. The new line should read this:
C:\>
If you see that, you're in good shape. Now, we're going to loop the first track. type in adxencd BGM_SELECT_SET1.wav. You will see a bunch of info as the program turns your wave into a .adx file. Once done, look at what is left on the screen, and you should see something that reads similar to this:
ADX output sample : 3625960 smpl (blk....)
That number is key. It will be different for every song, basically, it's where your track ends. We'll call this the track ending #. Now, in the next line you will type:
adxencd BGM_SELECT_SET1.wav BGM_SELECT_SET1.adx -lps0 -lpe3625960
Hit enter. If you see the "........" that means your file is/was converted, and you now have a looped .adx file. Do this for whichever/all tracks you want, just change the BGM_SELECT_SET1.wav and the track ending # accordingly.
5) Importing your music
Open up AFSExplorer. Go to File, then Import AFS file... Select Filedata.afs, it should be on your desktop. Now, this program is very much like windows explorer. You need to go to the following subdirectories to find where to put your files:
/game/goal/snd/BGM_REPLAY.adx
/select/snd/BGM_SELECT_SET1.adx
/select/snd/BGM_SELECT_SET2.adx
/select/snd/BGM_SELECT_SET3.adx
/title/snd/BGM_PDEMOS.adx
Click each file one at a time, then go to Action, Import and find the .adx file with the same name as the one you had selected. Click ok, and you might get an alert that says file is smaller, and padding with 0's will continue. Just hit ok. Do this for every file.
6) Adding the personalized ads
Go to /game/stadium/kanban_tex.bin. Select it and then go to Action, Import and locate the file with the same exact name (This is PESV's realistic ads file). Select them, then go to ok. Close the AFSExplorer. (Don't worry, any edits you do to this WILL BE SAVED)
7) Reimporting filedata.afs
Do step 3 again, only instead of extracting file, Right click the "filedata.afs" file (in the little explorer window) and click import file. Find your filedata.afs that you saved on the desktop. Select it, and hit ok. That's it. DO NOT CLOSE CDMAGE!
8 ) Repairing the Image
While the CDMage program is STILL OPEN, go to Action, Scan for corruption. Just hit ok.
This will take a while. Then, go to Action, Repair Corrupted Sectors. Once done go to Action, Rebuild Sector Fields. Just hit ok. Once done close out of CDMage.
**NOTE**
by Choutos
CDmage doesn't repair all the sectors sometimes! So u have to run ECCRegen after cdmage! Because ECC is especially designed for mode2 Playstation images and repairs all the sectors! Keep in mind!
(Another side note by me: I didn't need to use ECC Regen, and in fact when I tried to, I kept getting an error. So while it may repair some other errors, I didn't need to do it and still had a clean burn.)
9) Burning your new game
Open up Clone CD. Select Write from file. Select your Image.img from the desktop, and hit next. Hit ok, or if you're using Clone CD 4, select game CD, then ok. I only suggest burning at 4x speed.
There you have it. Follow this guide step by step to get a guaranteed burn. I will go into further detail in a future update as to where other files are. Just know, the key is in filedata.afs. Everything you are going to edit is in there. Hope this helps some, and don't forget, more to follow...

Thanks to: PESV, Kezman, Rh4psody, Choutos, Eskay, the board users at Evo-Web Forums and GameFAQs. Without them, I would not have figured this stuff out."
