Well, i just ordered a complete new playstation2 
my little brother can have the old one. I ordered a silver ps2 with the messiah 2. pro chip in it, 2 silver controllers a mem card and a rgb scartcabel. 1 year warranty.
the old playstation2 was 2 years old and this way my little brother is also happy
It's a lot of money but ps2/pes3 is a hobby, after woman, beer, paty's, DUHHH.

HELP,
i just purchased a slide card for my ps2, i have a silver ps2 and im having problems finding the screw which is on the instructions given. on the old ps2s the little screw is in the corner but on my new silver ps2 it is not, what do i have to do? i have searched the forums and cannot find an answer to this question!
please reply as i have a fully patched pes3 and cannot play it.

its a very small screw on the underside of the tray. Note you can only take the screw out when you have taken the disc out.

Yes i would use it. A friend of mine had Action replau and he used it to load backup Cd-R games.

yo once i downlaod a copy of pro evo3 , can i patch it da same way i patch on da pc version? and can da game b copid into a noraml cd rom if it fits in one or does it have 2 strickly b a dvd rom? cuz im thinking of getting that slidecard jus 2 play a patch version of pro evo 3?

Ok, firstly warez discussion,downloading games etc is strictly prophibited. And secondly, if you want PES3 buy it or download it in silence! And yes you can patch it and stick it on CD. Check out Zygalski's thread on how to do that!

and one more thing. i have baught pes3 on ps2 orginal and da pc version and believe u me its worh every penny i paid for dem and da only game i wud eva buy for full price, i just wanan update it so its all gud o ma ps2, i have done it on pc and its all gravy......lata

Could someone please tell me how to use the action replay MAX as a boot-up disc when doing the knife trick because it's completely different compared to the action replay v2.

it was WE7 on CD. My version of the swap magic is the older one and now apparantly in the nrew one is the TOC refresh rate which lets you play dvd rips. It should work ok.
