Hi, I have a few days until I play against 2 friends in PES 5. Im Milan and they are Inter And Manchester. Does anyone have formation tips or any other tips that will give me the winning edge? Do Inter or Manchester have any weak spots that I can exploit? Do you have any tips on what type of game to play(eg. a lot of crossing or short passes)?

Thank you very much!!

I will play in 4-4-2 trying to take advantage on Sheva and Ghilardino speed with Kaka near the box and using Cafu's side to start attacks.

Aw:

I use milan with 5 3 2 formation

dida gk
nesta cwp
maldini and stam cb
cafu and jankulovski cs
gattuso or vogel dmf
kaka lmf
seedorf rmf
gilardino and sheva cf

in my opinion is the best formation.

I use a 3-3-2-2 formation with the two playmakers positioned centrally but one on the left and one on the right (like the strikers).

GK; Dida
CB: Stam, defence set to high
CB: Nesta, defence set to high
CB: Maldini, defence set to high
RWB: Cafu, defence set to normal, attacking runs forwards and backwards
LWB: Serginho/Jankulovski, defence set to normal, attacking runs forwards and backwards
DM: Gattuso/Ambrosini/Pirlo, defence set to high
AM(L): Seedorf/Pirlo/Rui Costa/Kaka, defence set to low, attacking runs forward and diagonally out to left wing
AM(R): Kaka/Rui Costa, defence set to normal, attacking runs forward and diagonally out to right wing
CF(L): Gilardino, defence set to low, attacking run forward (and possibly out to left wing)
CF(R): Shevchenko, defence set to normal, attacking run forward (and possibly out to right wnig)

Works brilliantly for me, though the defence requires lots of concentration and its based on my style of play.

Great Thanks. Do you have a B formation?
And from where do you usually score? I like a formation that lets me score from just outside the box. Thanks!

I score all kinds with this formation. Headers, Inzaghi-style goals, a few long range efforts.

My B formation depends on what sort of formation I'm playing against. If you find you're penned back usnig the formation I described, switch the team strategy to auto-attack and see if it helps, but don't get too carried away with your defence pushing up because you need to make sure wingers don't steal in behind you.
