I know that this game is far superior than any footy game ever made. It is the most reallistic footy game in terms of gameplay.

So why do they let them selves down with Master League. Not reallistic at all, not by a long way. The points system is crud, surely they could use pounds, euros, or whatever. Instead you have to work out how many ludicrous amount of points you are going to be using. (I know its not hard but still very annoying)

The fact that if you go below the required amount of points you get game over, bullshit! especially when after you have put in bids for players and they have excepted you haven't got the option to cancel this, so it goes through automatically. So you can not put in bids for a number of players because if it they all get accepted you are fucked!

Also the bloody negotiation periods are arse! you have a stupid amount of time to actually buy players and then you are outside the negotiation period, crap!

Then there is the crappy squad you are given in Master League, This I don't mind to much as, this is the one thing I can live with and it makes the game challenging. But when you have the bunch of donkeys on the pitch representing arsenal it's a bit annoying, especially when you play a simple pass and their first touch is so horrific that the opposing team capitalise and score. I can control a ball better than that with my nut sack! (and i'm pretty shit).

Why can't they just make it reallistic everyone would be so much happier, and it can't be that much trouble, surely?

Sorry if this rant offends anybody but I had to get it off my chest, I know if I was better then I wouldn't have many of these troubles, but even you guys must admit that things like this should be sorted. Such little things but they would make such a difference.

the master league is class, even with its minor faults. you can cancel negotiations as well, on the screen where you comfirm the points in each players little box it says comfirm. you clik that and then select 'stop negot.'.

You can only cancel before you know if they will come to your team or not, which is lame.

Once you know if they will come to your team, then you should be able to cancel negotiations.

I do like Master League, but it could be so much better. I would rather they sorted out this aspect of Pro evo than the proper licensing.

I don't think the Negotiations system is that much of a problem, to be honest.

It's quite approachable once you get used to it, and it's never going to be like real life - inquiring about available players, putting money on the table, seeing if they accept, deciding whether it's worth it. You have to remember the main element of Pro Evolution Soccer is actually playing the matches - not the sub-management and micro-management of finances. For what it does, the ML system isn't bad, in my opinion.

it never bothered me to be honest, especially since i'm a cyber-pimp when it comes to how much money I have

i have to say that when you have any player in the centre midfield and they still knock it to the oppsition it is well annoying, i mean seedorf is good isn't he :(

I think the Master League is amazing.

I like the points system as it is. Although real money would make it more realistic, this way it's a lot more challenging. And why would you want to buy a big heap of players at once anyway? It's not as if teams (bar Chelsea) have ever done that. You wanted realism - you got it.

It takes seasons to build up a perfect team, and there are no doubt going to be money and player problems at some points. This is the case in real life as well as in PES's Master League - so it's actually a lot more realistic than you seem to think.

I don't want to buy a big heap of players, I want to put offers in for a few people and see if they accept, then you can choose which ones you want.

There is nothing more annoying than putting in offers and you then get a game over message because they automatically make you buy the players.

But now I have to put one offer in just to make sure I don't go over points, then play a game. Then if they don't accept, I then put another offer in and play another game then that player rejects, and so on. Before you know it your in a period where you can not make any negotiations.

Also If you had real money you would also have a budget that you could not spend over, this would eliminate the game over screen.

I know Pro evo is about gameplay (and its fantastic) but these introductions wouldn't make the management side any more involved, it would just make it a bit more realistic and more accessable.

To just clear up I do like the master league, I just think it could be much better(and things I suggest could be easily done), and I'm surprised no one else feels the same.

And I would also like to note I am not "Poo" at Pro evo (GO-GO-GOAL).

Why don't you just treat the points system as in thousands. Just add 000 to every deal and it becomes more realistic :)

The only thing I hate about the master league is that on the last negoation period (weeks 23-25) you have to wait until the end of the season before the players you have bought come through

So for Pro Evo 4 you would like default ML team to be something like this
GK: Kahn
LB: Carlos
CB: Ayala
RB: Stam
etc.

The team is shit because you are supposed to make them into a world class team using good management, i.e good tactics, buying good players.

Representing Arsenal? I thought you said the team were shit.

i dont get why you have to pay so much to loan a player! -- is the price you pay the amount of wage contribution or what?!?!

I paid 3 times the price for Kaka' for 15 weeks and they didn't accept it.

I noticed that.. for some strange reason the COM managers will reject excessive propositions

Probably for two reasons: Konami is "protecting" you in some way, a subtle way of saying "save your money for other players" - they probably programmed the game in some way to recognize offers within certain parameters/%'s and forgot or intended to leave out extreme cases

or: the COM manager realizes that they are dealing with Mr. Sony CEO himself, and if you can afford to pay that much, then you can pay much much more.. $$$$$ lol
