ML Team of Superstars -- Legit for online play?

I was playing WEES2007 last night and I get paired up in a quick match with some guy ranked 143. I figure, well, I'm not that good but maybe I'll learn something.

He picks Villareal and I pick Chelsea.

The match starts and I realize he has Ashley Cole, Zidane, F. Cavanarro, Buffon, Shevchenko and Wayne Rooney on his team.

During a pause I asked him what was up and he said, "This is my ML team."

WTF????

So I can make a ML team with all the best players and trounce people online with it? How is that fair? I'll go for Drogba, Rnaldinho, Van Der Sar and Trezeguet...

BTW, I lost 1-0 on a cheap header in the 85th minute.

This was the one and only time I've ever gotten angry during an online game. Was this guy being legit or was he bending the rules somehow?

Only in ML competitions - not for general matches, otherwise EVERYONE would do it.
