ML vs ML

My flatmate and i both have long running games on master leauge, we wanted to see whos team was better so we both loaded up our teams...

my problem is that even tho it has my proper lineup and formation, none of our players have developed or aged. which kinda took the point out of using our own teams

anyone got any idea if im doing something wrong?

You can't play with improved players. I think PES5 was last time you could do it.

We have 3 5-6 year in MLs running in our house and we can play each other with the latest teams ( ie same players have different stats for different houremates)

I don't know what would be wrong, all we do is goto 'save' in the ML menu then choose 'save my team data' or something like that, then 2p quick start and we choose ML for both, P1 then loads the 2 teams for the pink coloured slot on the memory cards.

Yup on PES 2008 on PS2, the stats are defiantly different as my housemate has a peaked Messi and Tevez who have 95+ all over the show whereas mine is still in 93/94 in some places.
Not sure what's been done wrong/right though.
