Hey friend,
1.) Lets start with the basic shall we, you can get more money if you win. So as expected, you get less with a draw and get very little with a loss. However, if you sign up to facebook.com/mypes you can get an extra amount per play played, this is only for played match and not Coach Mode.
2.) Base player rating doesn't change, but it changes as you build up your team with different players. Take note, the fatigue affects your stamina after every match and your players FORM is base on the overall market. Manage your form in getting the most out of each player is just as important as stamina, just as your form changes week in week out is interchange with how long you decides to sign him. Arrow going up means its important to sign him longer, if he turns purple or blue then maybe its time to sell him.
Furthermore, the changes to player rating depends on the team. Having players in the right position will improve other ratings for others.

i think the gate receipts are calculated using the value of the 21(ish) players that you pick and are on the bench, this is the multiplied by loss, draw and win ratios.
So if you have Ronaldo or Messi.... if you cannot afford to renew his contract and he reaches 0 remaining matches, you are going to earn a lot less money from your next match... In scenario it would be benificial to leave him as a sub with 1 remaining match contract.
If you have many subs, always keep the most expensive ones on the bench...

^ gunnerglow, That's totally wrong. Your gate recipients only depend on your first eleven, that's a fact. It doesn't cost you a thing if Messi is on the bench, therefore you don't get more money.

1 - the better your first eleven is, the more money you get from GR
2 - it never changes like it does in ML Offline, but there are a few Team Types you can choose from (Technique, Speed, Teamwork, etc.) and your players stats change according to those.

Personally it seems to me that the gate receipts are only based on the players who participate based on each player making up 1 eleventh of the overall based on *unknown equation* involving the players value, number of owners and possibly form or base value(possibly even cost of contract per game based on length of contract signed). If a player gets subbed, that eleventh is made up on an average of the 2 players on a pro rata basis.
This is then multiplied by 1=loss, 1.66..=Draw or 2=Win
Obviously this isn't fact, just the way it seems for me so far, I'd love to see the actual equations that go in to this process and others.

More importantly i would love to know what activates the scripting/handicapping. some matches i lose heavilly but on paper it is an easy (they have win% less than 20%) win form me.
Yet everything goes against me.
almost as if we play paper, scissor, stones somehow (without realising) and i lose! tactics, transfers, game slots, player ratings, my ranking rating, squad value etc?
something triggers the AI to mess with me - i want to know what!
