Modding a PS2...

For the last 80 hrs straight i been editing all this crap by hand and i realized it would be 10x greater to just patch everything, BUT i have no idea what i need to buy, to let all of you know im the most inept computer/electronic person on this god forsaken planet, BUT my love for the ISS/PES/WE series has made me want to step up my game, so instead of destroying my ps2 i figured i would just buy a pre-modded one but im not sure if the one on the following website will do, other than that i kno i need a dvd burner which i have, and all the software that is listed on the patching thread, and bland DVD-R's is there anything else i would need..

That store seems legit, but as most of us here are Europeans you may have a tough time finding someone thats used them. As long as the PS2 can play back-ups then you can enjoy fully patched WE/PES. If you already have a PS2 then the Swap_Magic/Slide Card method is very cheap and works a treat. Otherwise a modded PS2 is your best bet. Most of the mod-chips available today are of roughly the same standard so buying a modded PS2 shouldn't be a problem. Keep an eye out for a DMS3 or DMS4 chip or Messiah, all very good.

Wait, so if i just get a slide card and swap magic cds, then i will be able to play patches WE dvds? I dont need a modchip? And what is the safest, most reliable store to buy this?
