I think he's the best. The only person who comes close is Given. I think his performance in the Spurs game showed he has great quality as rafa would say.

he conceded two for god sake! pick a better game he had... hes not a bad keeper, just not the best in the world or the premiership, he doesnt face alota shots compared to jaskaleinin and given...

Hmm I might get laughed at for saying this but I'll have to say Anelka.

I'm french and I know this guy since '96 and his failed career reflected bad on his stats unfortunately.. As you know a lot of players are overrated because they play in a great club but they ain't that great.

I'm sure Anelka would have better stats and recognition if he had been better advised and if he had made the right choices. He would probably be a much better player too now.

I'm not saying he should be at the top in PES I'm saying the current stats doesn't reflect his strengths which are :

• First touch. I've read on pes stats database that they're amazed about Benzema's first touch but Anelka's is way better trust me..
• Acceleration/Speed. In Clairefontaine, where the french national team practices, they had a little sprinting contest recently. Results were 1)Anelka 2)Evra 3)Henry. Henry used to win all of these back in the days..
• Shoot Power. Low accuracy unfortunately but his shoot power should be a lot higher than Henry's

I repeat don't get me wrong I'm not saying he should be at the top. I'm just saying seeing him at the same level as players like Govou, sorry but no..

I think most young talents have been set by Konami with relatively lower stats than real life (maybe that's their opinion!), like Fabregas, etc.
However, looking at those young talents play in real life, I can say they deserve higher stats and more Special Abilities!

yeah, i think this is done for the ML. I mean if you were to have Fabregas a couple of years ago when he was just becoming amazing he was like 19 or something. Depending on what growth curve the game has him at he could be developing until hes like 30 giving him every stat about 95 easily (except for defence and keeper stats.) thats the only reason i can think they seem to consistently underrate such good youngsters. I made myself and by 25 with a long lasting growth curve my stats pretty much all exceed 94, and i was quite fair with my stats, pace started out at 78, acceleration at 87 and both are now 95.

As for underrated, you can pretty much say anybody who isnt that strong or fast but an excellent playmaker, like Xavi, Riquelme ect. I particularly think Lucho Gonzalez is underrated, hes awesome, got the goal of the champions league 2 seasons back and it was just plain amazing!

Seems like everyone has the wrong idea here. It's the most underrated in pes history thread, not the who is your fav player that can use a slight upgrade thread.

I think Messi from Pes 4 has to be most underrated ever. He was just god awful in that and even as a 17 year old he was hot shit and deserved far better.

Yea ML growth is ridiculous they really need to fix that this year. Just give the youngsters stats they deserve and limit the growth in ML, simple as that.
