I'm still baffled why they didn't follow the PC versions lead on this. That is, create dedicated slots for teams. Granted, more teams would be without chants than with, but they could incorporate a feature allowing you to change the teams linked to them chants. For example, they should set it up as:
Slots Team
0-5 Man Utd
6-11 AC Milan
12-17 Barcelona
etc
and then break the slots down to:
Slot No. Team
0 Man Utd Chant 1
1 Man Utd Chant 2
2 Man Utd Chant 3
3 Man Utd Chant 4
4 Man Utd Goal Cheer
5 Man Utd Final 10 Minutes Cheer
6 AC Milan Chant 1
7 AC Milan Chant 2
8 AC Milan Chant 3
9 AC Milan Chant 4
10 AC Milan Goal Cheer
11 AC Milan Final 10 Minutes Cheer
12 Barcelona Chant 1
13 Barcelona Chant 2
14 Barcelona Chant 3
15 Barcelona Chant 4
16 Barcelons Goal Cheer
17 Barcelona Final 10 Minutes Cheers
and so on and so on....
And allow you to change, for example slots 0-5 from Man Utd to Blackburn if you're (like I am) a Rovers fan. They would only need 6 slots per team, and allow for these to be played randomly in matches and mixed up with Konami's own cheers. This would be ample I think to have 4 team specific chants, general chants, a specific scoring cheer for each team and a last 10 minutes cheers pushing the team on in the end.
If they had 6 slots per team, and opened up 120 slots in the game (instead of 64). then this would be chants for 20 teams, which I'm sure most people would be plenty happy with.
Might not work, but just my view on the best way to do it. Only limitation to slots (as far as I understand) is in the game programming. Easy enough to change the value and allow more slots.
