my first impression of PES4

I played pro evo soccer 4 for 2 hours and i went straigt back to WE8 cus we8 is simply much nicer,wel at least thats what i think.
Ok no slow dows on 50 hertz and english commentry where nice ofcourse ;)
And alsow the players are more updated,like Chevcenko in milan the Hair is differnt from WE8 and Van nistelrooj face is diferent and better now,and al the nice transvers are up to date,only Zlatan stil plays in Ajax and not in Juve.The gameplay is little different i think and the game is alsow faster(wich is a down side i think).Ofcourse what really sux are the fake names of some clubs like mersy side blue and sh*t.And u only can play at first with the PELIAS ball type.The game is much brighter in colour that we8 wich is nice ;).
Wel but stil i think we8 plays nicer and lookes better.Ofcourse because its the JAP version,and trust me JAP version games are always better that EU version games.I wish i only could have the nice english commentry in WE8 then i will be verry glad ;).Wel that was my impression of PES4..now i gotta go back and play ML on WE8 ;)

see still more inconsistencies. Roteriro or pelias is the default? faster or slower...still no one can agree on certain things. Are these beta's that people are playing or the GENUINE article.

Answers on a postcard. Or alternatively in this thread.

Good question sir....betas or real deal??! Pelias SHOULD be the default (as in WE8)...well, maybe WE8 International is the game for everyone then!!

No the default in PES4 is the Roteiro. Pelias, Finale (red), SY1, SY2, Plain and Classic are all unlocked in PES Shop.

I think Amar just got a bit mixed up as the default for WE8 is Pelias.

The game is faster yes, not that much of a bad thing though. It does feel slightly different to WE8, can't quite say what it is, it just feels a little different. I prefer PES4 though over WE8.

how is it faster? does the ball travel faster? does the cpu defense close on you faster, leaving you with less time and space? or are the overall animations a percentage faster than WE8? thanx.

The players run faster but the ball seems to be slower when passing than in WE8.

I also prefer PES4, it just feels right to me.

How can WE8 look better than PES4??? No logic in that whatsoever.

You see wat you want to see right. I don't think that WE8 looks better than PES4, and I have also played PES4 for an hour or something. I see no differences in the way it looks. To me it feels that PES4 is a bit faster than WE8, but it is not a big difference.

I think that PES4 does look a bit clearer and sharper than WE8. I've only played it on 60Hz so far on 3 different PS2s and there is definitely some slowdown in the penalty area in a few stadia.

geokas, a player like rivaldo would never come to PAO, u can only dream of players like, but i guess this is not the place to talk bout, anyway, for the meantime, keep dreaming! oh and great perfomance last nite in champions league, i guess it will be another 7 years before u win the league again

thats not true the game speed is simply spot on its just some people have eyes that are more or less sensitive to frame rates

The official ball for pes4 is roteriro and the offical one for we8 pelias. if someone is playing a pes4 with roteriro then it isnt the offical one its probably the beta version and (dont ask me how i know this stuff cause we are not allowed to discuss it in here). now this matter about faster or slower then i already answered that one on the above post
