Why the hell have they not sorted out the striped kits issue? It really angers me if this is the case in the final one, - not because I think its what makes a game, but because considering how hard it can be to sort it out, it is a grevious oversight. Its a fairly fundamental thing to any edit mode, and for the improvement it would mean, the effort can't have been to much.

chill out mate dont stress yourself out to much its not the end of the world!!! no joking aside i agree it cant be that hard to include striped shirts, i could understand if this game was created by amatures but KONAMI! something missing in there development meetings, but if all the other aspects of pes4 are as good as we8 i will let them off...

I also play pes4 and we8. I see in pes4 no slowdowns 50 or 60 Hz.
we8 was also very good but the fucking SLOWDOWNS :confused: ruined the game.
Yes pes4 is a little faster but its quiet ok.
i am still waiting for the great Patches :D .

No striped shirts??. yet I have seen vids with Juve in , they have striped shirts... does anyone no for sure whether they do have striped shirts?

Yes, the licensed teams has striped shirts, not the others and as far as I can see, you cannot select the striped shirt.

It's not a big deal about no striped shirts in edit mode. With the sponsor editor etc you can just paint each individual pixel for the stripes on. Haven't tried it yet to see how it looks but thats what I've been told.

Im not so sure you can do that for the whole shirt?

Anyway, Im not TOO fussed - I just think it should have been easily correctable, and as far as they were concerned, a major boost for genuine editing capability for many clubs. Im so happy about the sponsor / logo editing and all, but given the improvements they've made, it's a real shame. I don't see why it has caused so much hassle for them, and why they haven;t rectified it. WHo knows they, maybe they will have by the final release..

Dannyboy, you are wrong I am afraid. The sponsor-editor covers only a small part of the shirt. You also cannot edit the licensed shirts, because for those the edit-mode is grayed out. You cannot select the editor there.
...unless you have a better idea... :)

Can anyone tell me why they had to fcuk with the speed of the game fullstop!!!!
Pes3 was perfect on the pc and and still looks far better than WE8. We got WE8 and played it for 2 days, then killed dead with a hammer.The game felt like a souped up fifa and played far too quick for real life plays in general.The shots felt rubber and the camera angle was different for what we're used to. Overal too many changes.
Now don't get me wrong, all the little edit extras are class and thats what made it even more sad.

P.S. If PES4 plays faster than WE8 God help us all.

i agree.the kit editor has been a massive letdown this year,no hoops,no stiped kits and now ive heard you cant even choose a shirt collar(as in pes3).i used to love editing the new kits but this version in my opinion is a massive step backwards.yes,the gameplay will be good,but just imagine newcastle taking the field in a totally different plain black shirt?not exactly real is it.come on konami get your act together.sort it out....................................................ave it

Totally agree i have the full release of pes4 not a beta and the graphics are a lot better than we8 and it plays smoother no two ways about it stop worring everybody its a slighty better game all round trust me see my thread playing full release ;) ;)

I`m still waiting to get a copy of PES4. From what I`m hearing from people that have the original full version the game still has slowdowns in some stadiums especially when playin at Giuseppe Meazza. 50Hz or 60Hz doesn`t make any difference trust me. Now, the entire gameplay is faster than WE8. Players reach the goal very quickly and IMO it`s impossible do do that while in WE8 it takes some time to go and get up front. This information I collected is from a good friend of mine that has alot of experience when it comes up to test games etc..so I believe him..almost all the vets in SG forum got sick of PES4 went right back to WE8. And you can kiss-goodbye your PES4 once WE8J-League is released.. Improved -gameplay and I can ensure you slowdowns will be completely gone.

P.S. Can we stick to the Gameplay topic as I'm freaking out here thinking about how much of a setback it'll be if I have to stick to playing PES3 for another year . :)
