my first impression of PES4

I think Pes 4 is the better game, the pace is just right, I think we8 is the faster game, the passers are lightning fast, which is real for stevie G, but any shite player can knock a pass at 100 mph which is not real. Also has anyone noticed that the graphics are getting worse, I dont mean the animation which has improved with every update, but the graphics seem to be getting more blurred and the stadiums have less detail, i think the best game for graphics was pes2.

why we8 looks slower
actually,why PES4 looks faster because we find slowdown problem on we8,but when you change the TV mode in 60hz you will fell the same that we8 is not different with PES4.and the reasons:
1. on 50 hz mode,the pictures of the player/camera is bit defferent with we8
2. on 60 hz mode,the pictures is the same we8 but more sharply
3. in other words,NTSC mode means ASIA(japan) and PAL mode means EURO
4. in PES3 the gameplay was made easier than WE series but not in PES4
4. I have tried it many times so I know it well

And alsow the players are more updated,like Chevcenko in milan the Hair is differnt from WE8 and Van nistelrooj face is diferent and better now,and al the nice transvers are up to date,only Zlatan stil plays in Ajax and not in Juve.The gameplay is little different i think and the game is alsow faster(wich is a down side i think).Ofcourse what really sux are the fake names of some clubs like mersy side blue and sh*t.And u only can play at first with the PELIAS ball type.The game is much brighter in colour that we8 wich is nice.
Wel but stil i think we8 plays nicer and lookes better.Ofcourse because its the JAP version,and trust me JAP version games are always better that EU version games.I wish i only could have the nice english commentry in WE8 then i will be verry glad

There's no point in arguing. Everybody is going to see it differently. Last year, everyone disliked PES3 to begin with, but it bloody grows on you. It is just because you have to adapt to a different type of gameplay...
Without a different style of gameplay, where is the adancement?

is there updated kits , like the new juve,barca strip etc.? im gettin the game 2morro and i have we8 and its old kits on tht is it the same with pes4?

did you actually play the previous games?, the stadiums on pes2 have miles more detail and the graphics sharper, and the players looked better, you can tell they have turned down the detail to fit in the improved animation in pes4, it looks like they have pushed the ps2 to its max, its a better game to play but it doesn't look better. You mention "lightning" I personaly think its shite, it makes them look like they have grey hair, it doesn't improve the look at all. Anyway the pc version will be the best, and easier to patcht1000v2.0 said:

My Impression
ok my impressions, i have PES4 and WE8
Comparing it to WE8: I think that PES4 is the better game, there is no slowdown and the game runs at a slightly better pace. However when i play it on my TV i use 50hz because if i play with 60hz it plays in almost slow motion.
The Roterio is default as opposed to the ugly Pelias which is good, and the game just seems more polished than WE8 and the gameplay runs smoother.
It's hard to tell which game has the better graphics because i play WE8 on 60hz and PES4 on 50hz so i can't comment on that one. But the updated kits and teams and the English Language with no slow down in PES4 blows WE8 away.
Also to everyone that is just starting to play it (or is planning to) and hasn't played WE8, it's by Far better than PES3 - it is a much beter improvement than it was to from PES2 - PES3. I actually think that the gameplay has moved back to (but in a postive way) PES2. Because in PES2 there was much more space and you could get break aways, where as in PES3 they took that away.
So think PES2 not PES3 with VASTLY improved Animations, teams, abilities, tricks, training, ML etc etc etc and you will get some idea of how good PES4 is.
