Fraps Video Capture..

Guy one bit of advice when running Fraps to capture video... give it and pro evo 3 priorty under task manager as high so that the hot key works when capturing video!! It originally was being a sod and wouldnt work for me!!! now it does!

yeah jerky, but that can be fixed with more practice...i'm sure my first try will be jerky too.

Oh I have a better version, which is not jerky at all.....for some reason, its like that under the divX codec and there is greater compression in there....gonna try and sort that out....the other one i have, used mpg compression...looks, and runs better. The jerkyness came through in the last stage of editing with virtual dub....not the capture itself...the game itself, runs and captures beautifully. Will put the better one up if ya likes....but its 60mb, so some of you may not want to, but it does better justice to my work I guess, so it'll be great if you guys can take another look.

couldnt quite get the hang of nandub....but I'll try my next one on that...I know you can do a bit more on it. The trickiest thing is to get the visuals to go with the music, I was trying to blend each clip into a relevent piece of music/lyric...kinda worked. I used a total of 38 clips, but I thought I wanna give you guys more than just goals...thats been done before....so i thought I'll throw in a bit of everything in a no holds barred, all for all PES3 shoot out!!!! hence the caption "The good, the bad and the ugly" LOL....anyways, uploading my 60mb version which is as smooth and crisp as the smoothest thing you are ever likely to find....the watered down version does me no favours as the best video pimp on this forum so far, lol

So anyone got any feedback on the content I used? Or anything else they would have liked to see in it? By the way, if anyone is starting their own vid....I can do up some new clips to be used, just let me know. Gonna look for some better editing software. Fraps is good for capture, don't think I'll find better for that. But I want something that will give me transitions, and other effects, and better txt/caption editing......someone mentioned a couple of prgrams in a post...cant remember what they were.

i was hoping for more goals and some real nice moves. although i loved the clip where a player nutmegged another right thru the legs :)

Yeah, thats one of my faves, but the zidane slow-mo drag back to take the p out of heskey does it for me.

More goals?..hmmm, maybe, but I wanted to give a more "complete" impression of football, goals are good, goals are very good...I wanted this to kick ass...literally, so I varied the action, from great skill, great goals, and lots of bad attitude!! And this for me, worked with the theme, soundtrack and title.

As for the nutmeg....i couldnt believe I even pulled it off...cos before that, i cant remember doing one, so that was essential to the vid.

ti m8..do u use msn at all...only i have a few to send..lol...my 5 year old specials..if so put it as a private message..lol promise i wont stalk you on it...oh..on another point..i can convert any divx file to mpg so it will work on any DVD player that plays CDRs in a VCD format..lol i learned that just cos of this bloody game....if any one else want to know how to convert them, post!!
