yep. I watch center backs on a full sprint towards their own goal only to make a 30 yard pass on the ground, behind him to his midfielder/forward.
It's one thing (a stupid thing nonetheless) to have players be able to pass anywhere from any position. However konami takes this stupidity one step further by putting a forcefield around the ball so that assisted passes meet their target no matter what!
Assisted passing doesn't only affect passes (like it should), it affects the opposition defence as well.
