My Keeper.. the master of illusion!

I have noticed recently that my master league keeper (Wolf) likes to dissappear completely from the pitch during gameplay. It happened a couple of times vs my mates. They score with no one in goal. we checked the replays and toggled through all the players on the pitch and my keeper was missing!!. It happened in my master league too.... strange :unsure:

Anyone else experienced the GK magic tricks??

I've been trying this recently and although the shots go on target with good trajectory, the keeper is always there. Who do you take them with?

Say you get a freekick just inside the your opponents(Not right on the half way line).
Choose someone with good shot power. eg Gerrard. Press L2 until you have your kicker kicking the ball so it curls inwards(Doesn't really matter). And aim it @ the suitable post. Press L1 & x. Ignore the dummy power bar & concentrate on the second one(get 3/4 on the power bar while pressing up)

With practise this should work.Tell me how you get on.

I haven't had the disappearing goal keeer problem, but I don't like how keepers suddenly change direction when diving.

I had the same problem last week. I had a goal kick and Yohan Pele just vanished, the ball just sat there on its own. I sorted it by substituting him but I’ve no idea why it happened or how to stop it happening again.

Maybe you press R2 after you pass with the keeper, or you pass with L1+X and your keeper thinks you want him to attack.

I know this is about goalies but it happend to me with rio ferdinand when i was playing england against brazil. ferdinand kicked the ball down the pitch and then he turned around and ran right out the stadium my mate was laughing his socks off. then after a wile the ball went out of play and he came back fucking weird shit.

Same thing happened last nite @ the Blackburn game.

In PES4 I was playing an exhibition match when Essien just ran straight through the stadium walls. I could see his dot on the radar, somewhere inside the crowd. Later when I got a goal kick, he just reappeared back through the walls.

This is weird, the same keeper Wolf (that you use Slash) also messed up in one of my games as well. He didn't disappear though.

He tried to make a save for a shot that hit the crossbar and somehow he ended up caught in the net (you must have seen when a player scores and they cross the line and just hold on to the net). Well he was doing that continually and it's like he couldn't move cause the net was in the way. I didn't notice at first cause he was off screen but when my mate had another shot against me he was still there. I was too busy pissing myself laughing that I couldn't care when I conceded a goal because of it.

Of course, it reset back to normal after kick-off and hasn't happened since.

That's exactly what I've been doing with Carlos, Pirlo, Seedorf and Juninho P and the keeper is always standing in the right place to catch the ball. Maybe we should discuss this in another thread.
