I am going to start posting my ML career when I start my new season, for now I will tell you some stats.

That's all of my created players, so I will tell you about where I am as a club. Last year I won the 1st Division,1st Division Cup and the WEFA championships. Currently this year there are 4 games left and I have won the league, I am against Aston Villa in the final of the Division 1 Cup and the final of WEFA championships.

I know that I have a lot of created player but I make sure that, to even things up, I have improved a whole lot of real players from the game, i.e Boumsong,Cisse
Henry,V Nistelrooy, Angel,Berg,Friedel,Anelka,Cole, and a whole lot more.
Also, I have been trying to get rid of them for a while now and I was trying to buy Owen and Gerrard to replace some of the created players but they signed new contracts.

Origionally I had thought that I would not have enough time to do them all but it turned out that I had time. Oh and I managed to work the poll Zy.

Well, to be fair, stories are told in parts, and to keep telling the story by re-editing your original post would be confusing for people who are reading the story, not to mention awkward.

matches 1-10

I'm going to post everything that happens between match 1 and 10 here and then start another reply for the next ten matches.

Season transfers
in- Carlos from AC Milan for 17,903
renew- Ivarov for new contract, 117 for 3 years

PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES;
UMBRIA at home 3-0 victory
Carlos played brilliant in first game and claimed the own goal which opened the scoring before his cross left Pires with an easy header for the first assist this season.
AUXERRE away 3-1 victory
Another great performance from my midfield and my attackers with Carlos setting up a brilliant overhead kick from Henry as well as playing a part in the 3rd goal.
WERDER BREMEN away 1-0 victory
After controlling 60% of possesion I felt unlucky not to win the game by more than 1 goal, still, another victory and showing good form before the first game of the season.

The FIRST GAME of the season away to RC Lens. RC Lens have always caused me trouble in previous games and I was hoping that this game would change that. It's not that they have lots of chances but it's as if they put all 11 players in the 18 yard box to block my shots.

1st half:
Nothing to say about it really, despite a constant barage of runs from midfield by Pires, Cristiano and Carlos I just couldn't break through. I will be trying to gain more possesion in the 2nd half as 54% is not impressive enough for me.
2nd half:
48min- I kick off and straight away it gets to Cristiano who finds Henry on the right wing. Henry manages to beat the defender before swinging the ball in with his left foot for Pires to score the first goal of the season. 1-0 Rangers.
54 min- Corner from the left hand side by Carlos which finds Pires with another free header, I was just about to jump off my seat and celebrate but RC Lens keeper Itandje produced a magnificent stop.
63 min- A superb through ball by Carlos from midfield which resulted in a 2 on 1 situation in our favour, Henry cut the ball back for Di Vanari who blazed it over the bar.
66 min- Pizarro terrorises my defence before his low shot from the penalty spot is stopped by Da Costa. However the ball fell to Pedron and he managed to turn it in from an impossible angle. 1-1.
69 min- Stam and Pires combine well before giving it to an unmarked Henry, who switched it onto his right foot and hammered it in from just inside the 18 yard box. 2-1.
81 min- Carlos swings a great ball in from the left which is headed in by Pires to put the game beyond reach surely. 3-1 to Rangers.
85 min- The ball goes out for an RC Lens corner, I take advantage of this and bring on Roy Keane for Pires, Keane is played as a CM just in front of my DM's.
The corner is cleared by Stam and it arrives at the feet of Carlos runs down the wing. He is tackled from behind by Bous who is given a deserved straight red card.

WEFA CHAMPIONSHIP GROUP2 MATCH 1
Against Spartak at home here. I was eager to make sure that this season was as disasterous as the start of last season WEFA group stage were I won 2, drew 2 and lost 2, scraping through by 1 point ahead of Lazio. I wasn't sure what to expect as I have never played Spartak Moscow.

1st half
10 min- Di Vanari threads a perfect through ball to Henry for a 1-1 with the keeper, who makes an outstanding stop before the defender manages to kick it out for a throw in.
43 min- Great ball in from Carlos on the left wing. Henry connects well and the keeper makes a tremendous stop.
2nd half
61 min- Hanke is fouled just to the left of the goal, 26m out, Di Vanari takes the free kicks. He drives it across the ground using the circle button. The wall does not jump and the ball is blocked.
71 min- Roberto Carlos swings in another great cross, Cristiano is found 2 yards out with acres of space, he headers the ball towards goal and as he is about to wheel away and celebrate the keeper pulls out the best save you will ever see, and I mean it.
88 min- Paolo Di Vanari beats the 3 defenders before skying the ball from just inside the 18 yard box. Surely that's our last chance!
89 min- From the goal kick which came from Vanari's poor shot, the keeper elects to make a short pass to his RB. Henry intercepts the pass and takes it forward a few yards before putting Di Vanari through, Di Vanari fires the shot straight at the keeper.

MOM- Spartak Moscow keeper Zuyev.

Not the best result, I felt that we had enough chances to win the game comfortably.

LEAGUE GAME 2.
Against Brescia at home. Brescia are currently tied for sixth here. I will be hoping that my defence doesn't allow Baggio time on the ball as in previous games he has been lethal.

1st half:
2 mins- Tamue gets into a 1-1 with my keeper and forces an early stop from Da Costa. This is going to be an exciting game.
15 mins- I was fuming at my defence as they tryed to pass the ball out of the box and ended up putting Da Costa into another 1-1 with Baggio this time. He blocked the shot and was lucky that when the ball came back to Baggio he couldn't control it.
21 mins- My first chance of the game, a great ball from Beckham on the right wing which finds Henry, unfortunately he mistimes the header and the chance is wasted.
24 mins- Beckham nearly finds Di Vanari in the centre. Rangers win a corner.
31 min- Carlos with a cannonball cross from the left, Henry connects well with the header. 1-0 to Rangers!!!!!!!!!!!
34 mins- Brescia give the ball away on the left hand side and Carlos finds Di Vanari's head. 2-0 to Rangers!!!!!
38 mins- Dyer on the right hand side crosses it in and Tamue manages to score a header from the edge of the box. 2-1 now.
2nd half:
55 mins- Beckham does well to win the ball on the right wing and then swings it in. The defender headers the ball out for a corner. The corner is swung in by Carlos, the big man Heimeroth gets his head onto it and the keeper makes a great save, the ball is then cleared by the defender.
56 mins- From the resulting throw, Carlos gets the ball and crosses it in from the left hand corner of the box. Di Vanari heads it in from around the penalty spot to make it 3-1 to Rangers. Finally, a bit of breathing space.
62 mins- Beckham puts a cross in from the by-line, the ball reaches Carlos who wastes the header.
Brescia sub- Nerlinger in for Inamoto.
67 mins- Dyer hits a shot from 30 yards out which Da Costa tips by the post for a corner.
Brescia subs- Bachini in for Wome
Rangers subs- Keane in for Pires. Keane plays in the centre of midfield.
73 mins- David Beckham wins a free kick on the right hand side 31m out. Carlos to take it. Here's the run up,ohhhhh, bang, just right of the post.
76 mins- Dyer wins a corner.
Rangers subs- Nesta in for Stanley, Nesta moves into CB to form a 4-4-2.
The corner is swung outwards by Tonas. Stam gets his head to it but the header goes straight to Nerlinger on the right wing. Nerlinger finds space before putting in a low cross to Baggio who hits it first time in off the post.
83 mins- Di Vanari uses his pace to sprint past the defence before firing a low shot at goal. The goalkeeper makes a great save and the defender kicks it out for a corner. Carlos swings it in, Di Vanri gets his head to it but the keeper catches it.

The referee was shocking, he sent off 2 of my players for "yellow card tackles" yet he ignored our claim for a penalty which looking at the replay showed that it was a stonewaller and he didn't even book the player who seriously injured Robert Pires even though it was a sliding tackle from behind.



Robert Pires will be injured for 16 weeks with a torn muscle.
